Du Fu Caotang, located on the bank of Huanhua River in the western suburbs of Chengdu, is the former residence of Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty in China, when he lived in Chengdu. In the winter of 759 AD, in order to avoid the "Anshi Rebellion", Du Fu came to Shu with his family from Longyou and built a hut, which was called "Chengdu Caotang" in history. Du Fu lived here for nearly four years and has written more than 240 poems so far.
The former residence of Caotang is known as the "Holy Land" in the history of China literature. In the Five Dynasties, the poet Wei Zhuang discovered the former site of the thatched cottage and rebuilt it for preservation. It has been repaired and expanded in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, and has evolved into a famous cultural shrine with simple and elegant architecture and beautiful gardens. In March, 196 1 was announced by the State Council as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units; 1985 In May, Du Fu Caotang Museum was established; In February 2006, 1 was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration; In May 2008, it was awarded the first batch of national first-class museums by National Cultural Heritage Administration. Chengdu Du Fu Caotang Museum is Du Fu's largest, best preserved, most distinctive and most famous museum.
Today's thatched cottage completely retains the pattern of Qing Jiaqing's reconstruction, with a total area of nearly 300 mu. Garden is a very unique "mixed" China classical garden. The museum is divided into: cultural relics scenic spot (former site of Caotang), garden scenic spot (Meiyuan) and service area (Caotang Temple). The zhaobi, the main entrance, the main hall, the museum of poetry and history, the Chai Men and the shrine of the Ministry of Industry are arranged on a central axis, with symmetrical cloisters and other ancillary buildings on both sides. There are flowing water, small bridges and bamboo forests, which are solemn, simple and elegant, deep and quiet, beautiful and clear. On the east side of the shrine of the Ministry of Industry is the tablet pavilion of Shaoling Caotang, which symbolizes Du Fu Caotang, making people daydream, and has become a landmark attraction of Du Fu Caotang and a famous landscape in Chengdu.
Behind the shrine of the Ministry of Industry, there is a "hut scenic spot" based on Du Fu's poetry description and restoration and reconstruction in Ming Dynasty, which reproduces the pastoral style of the poet's former residence and creates a strong poetic atmosphere. In the bonsai garden, 1999 built the "Du's Calligraphy Woodblock Museum", displaying more than 100 pieces of Du's calligraphy woodcut works, which are selected from thousands of original Du's calligraphy written by celebrities in past dynasties and carved with nanmu, which is quite ornamental, and its poems, books, materials and techniques are also called "four musts"; Located in the "Daya Gallery", the third hall of the ancient architectural complex of Fan 'an Temple, it displays the largest painted glazed frescoes and sculptures 12 of famous poets in China, vividly showing Du Fu's life and the development history of China's classical poetry. The museum basically displays the Millennium Works of Poets and Saints, and won the best creative award in the fifth "Top Ten National Exhibitions". Using modern display means and vivid display language, this paper shows the magnificent momentum and brilliant achievements of Du Fu's poems, and shows the far-reaching influence of Du Fu's thought. There is also the "Love Cabin" literary photo exhibition, which shows pictures, signatures, inscriptions and gifts left by state leaders, foreign VIPs and celebrities at home and abroad when they visit the cabin.
"tang style's Legacy" Tourist Service Center is a large-scale market integrating the development and sales of Du Fu Caotang's characteristic tourist commodities. Du Fu Caotang Poetry Painting and Calligraphy Institute is adjacent to the "Legacy of tang style", which integrates painting and calligraphy exhibition, exchange, purchase and sale, and collection. It is a high-grade platform for developing traditional excellent culture and cultural industries.
Tang Dynasty ruins exhibition hall is located in the northeast of Caotang. At the end of 200 1 year, a large area of living sites and a number of cultural relics of the Tang Dynasty were excavated in the thatched cottage, which greatly enriched the historical and cultural connotation of Du Fu's thatched cottage, confirmed Du Fu's description of the living environment and scenes of that year, clarified the dispute over the location of the ancient and modern thatched cottage, increased the historical sense of Du Fu's thatched cottage, and added new glory to this holy land, which was even more desirable.
The Wanfo Tower rebuilt in 2005 stands in the nanmu forest to the east of the thatched cottage. It has restored the style of Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city, with the Chongli Tower in the east and the Wanfo Tower in the west. Overlooking from the railing, it is another landmark building and a new highlight of cultural tourism of Du Fu Caotang.
