Xu, a native of Henan, 1905, a native of Xujiawa Village, Henan Province. His mother gave birth to eight children, perhaps the only one who survived. Born in a peasant family, it is conceivable that Xu's family is not rich. At the age of eight, Xu Youshi entered Shaolin Temple and became a young monk.
In Shaolin Temple, although you have to practice martial arts every day, you can at least eat enough. Shaolin monks believe that Jamlom is honest and willing to endure hardships, and have high hopes for him. One trick of Shaolin Kung Fu is to stand upside down with one hand on the board. Xu has practiced for three years, and other tricks such as "sticking to the wall" or "hanging arm" have been practiced for eight years.
Because of his solid basic skills, Xu has developed a good martial arts. For the first time, Xu went back to his hometown to visit his mother with kung fu, but he didn't expect to bump into the servant of the landlord's house and beat others. Xu tried to stop the fight. As a result, he was rude and even waved his fist in Xu's face.
Xu Youshi subconsciously dodged a step, then bent down to sweep his legs. The man shot in the chest fell to the ground, motionless. This happened the first time I went down the mountain. Xu was worried about the landlord's revenge, so he said goodbye to his mother overnight and returned to Shaolin Temple.
After listening to his story, Xu's master shook his head and said that Xu had lost his life and Shaolin Temple could no longer take him in. After a period of apprenticeship, Shaolin master finally gave Xu eight yuan, and Xu took the money and had to leave Shaolin Temple.
Xu spent eight years in Shaolin Temple. He is proficient in all kinds of knives, guns and clubs, and his fists and fists are also very good. After going down the mountain, Xu first joined the peasant revolutionary movement and then joined the National Revolutionary Army. For a time, he reached the level of company commander. During his stay in Wuhan, Xu got to know and accept the China Producer Party. 1August, 928, Xu was introduced and successfully joined the producer of * * *.
Xu is not afraid of hardship and fatigue, and he is good at martial arts, and he has been promoted very quickly in the army. 1934, Xu reached the level of deputy commander. Xu Ben, who is in a high position, doesn't have to go to the front to fight, but he can not only eat and live with the soldiers, but also be the first to fight. 1934, Xu led his troops to launch Wanyuan Defence War, wiped out more than 7,000 people with the strength of a division, and protected the Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base area, which was a great contribution.
Counting Xu's experience, he participated in seven death squads, including two as the captain of the death squad and four serious injuries. Xu has been through many battles and only used 14 combat knives. After Wanyuan defended the war, Xu was promoted to the rank of commander of Gongsijun. Because of his bravery and kung fu, Xu's name has already spread all over the army, and Chairman Mao also heard of brave Xu at that time.
From a soldier to a teacher, Xu became one of the founding generals after the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC). He spent half his life as a soldier and felt sorry for his mother.
When Xu was a child, his family was very poor. After the age of 8, he practiced in Shaolin Temple and rarely saw his mother. Later, I accidentally killed the bully and dared not go home. Later, Xu became famous in the army, fearing that his position would pose a threat to his mother. The matter of contacting his mother was put on hold.
1932 10, shortly after the Red Fourth Front Army withdrew from Dabie Mountain. General Xu realized that he might not see his mother for a long time, so he deliberately asked for leave to go home and meet his mother.
Xu's mother knows that her son serves the people, and everything he does is to let the people live a stable life. She told Xu that she must listen to the party. Before leaving, he took out some eggs from his side and told his son to eat when he was hungry on the way. With his mother's love for him, General Xu embarked on the road to the west.
Who knows, the difference is 15. 15 years later, with liberation just around the corner, Xu thought that his mother was old now, so he specially sent someone to take her from Henan to Jinan, Shandong Province, on the one hand, to let her spend her old age safely, and on the other hand, to be filial.
When I saw my mother again after 15 years, I found that my mother was white-haired and hunched a lot. General Xu choked and hugged her.
Xu wanted to give his mother better living conditions, so he took her to live in Jinan. However, the old lady used to live a hard life all her life and did everything by herself. After coming to Jinan, more people rushed to work with her.
The old lady was flattered, but she was not used to being served like this, so she asked her son to send me back to my hometown. Xu was reluctant at first, so he specially brought a spinning wheel and a loom home to let his mother pass the time. However, in Jinan, the old lady is a stranger and doesn't even have a speaker. On second thought, she told her son to go back to his hometown in Henan. Unable to defeat his mother, Xu finally obeyed her mother's instructions and sent her back to her hometown.
The last time Xu saw his mother was after the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC) 1958. This autumn, Xu returned to his hometown after 26 years' absence. He found his home clearly and accurately by memory. But the door at home is closed, and Xu, who can't find his mother, calls for his mother as he did when he was a child. Seeing no response, Xu guessed that his mother should be on the mountain at this time, so he went up the hill along the path to find her. On the hillside, Xu finally met her.
Mother's hair has turned gray, and her thin shoulders are still carrying a lot of firewood. It is said that "men don't flick when they have tears", but when they see such a mother, Xu's tears still swirl in her eyes and roll down her cheeks.
1956, in order to save land resources, the state encourages people to use cremation instead of burial. Such propaganda goes against China's traditional thought. In order to set an example for the people, the cremation agreement for civil servants of state organs came into being.
After reading the agreement, Chairman Mao wrote his name with a wave of his hand. Marshal Zhu De took the pen beside Chairman Mao and wrote his name. Later, Peng,,, Zhang Ziyi and others signed it.
Five months later, the Eighth National Congress was held in Beijing. Leaders from all walks of life who attended the meeting wrote their names on the proposal. Many comrades who were not in Beijing at that time or did not attend the meeting also expressed their willingness to be cremated after death.
Most people have signed their names, so the remaining unsigned notices are particularly special, and one of them is Xu. Why doesn't Xu want to sign the proposal? He took the initiative to find Chairman Mao and spoke his mind. General Xu has worked hard all the year round, especially sorry for his mother who lives in his hometown. He thought, since he couldn't accompany his mother to provide for her old age before his death, he should be buried with her after his death, so that he could take care of her.
Chairman Mao neither denied nor agreed with Xu's decision. This matter has been put on hold for the time being, but Xu's desire to be buried with his mother has never changed.
1in the spring of 965, Xu sent his son to his mother to take care of the elderly. That is, in the autumn of this year, Xu's mother was seriously ill and died soon. Xu was on a business trip in Zhoushan when he learned the news. Coastal defense safety is one of the important supports of border defense. Therefore, General Xu chose to continue his official duties and missed his last meeting with his mother.
As we all know, General Xu died of cancer. In the last days of his life, Xu, who was open-minded, was not worried about his own death, but worried that he could not be buried with his mother after his death.
Everyone knows that the medical conditions in Beijing are the best in the country. Why is General Xu unwilling to go to Beijing to treat liver cancer? In fact, General Xu knows that his illness is very dangerous. He struggled with terror every day before he died, and his body could not stand the long journey. He is also worried that once he goes to Beijing, something will happen and he will never come back.
1985, shortly after New Year's Day, Xu called his secretary. He asked his secretary to write a report on his funeral after death. General Xu was earnest in his report, and once again talked about his own affairs. He hopes that the central authorities will allow him to be buried next to his mother after his death, which is his greatest wish.
After the report went north, it was too late to get a reply. General Xu's illness became more and more serious, but before he fell into a coma, he asked his secretary whether his report had been approved, and how the Central Committee replied. Every time, the secretary told Xu that the reply from the Central Committee had not yet arrived.
Xu, who was in Nanjing, didn't know that after his report was sent to Beijing, no one could do anything about it for a while, so he finally had to give it to him and ask him to decide the matter.
He and Xu are peers, colleagues and comrades-in-arms, and Xu is buried instead of cremated after death in order to accompany his mother. Adding up all kinds of reasons, Deng Xiaoping instructed: "Just do it, it won't happen again."
At this point, our burial may be certain.
When the problem of burial is solved, new problems arise. Everyone was cremated, but General Xu was buried alone. Because General Xu's funeral was a bit special, it was not widely publicized.
The raw materials of General Xu's coffin were specially shipped from Guangxi, and the whole coffin was extremely simple, following the legacy of General Xu. The coffin's departure for Henan is confidential to most people except a few.
1On the evening of October 7th11point, the soldiers who escorted the coffin gathered quietly, which meant that they were about to take part in the escort mission. Fan Zhilun, the person in charge, watched the watch closely. When the time came, he whispered, "Let's go!" I promised the general's coffin, and I was on my way.
The coffin team set out in the early hours of the morning and kept a low profile all the way. However, in order not to affect the local villagers, but also to block the news, the team still maintained a state of first-class alert.
General Xu's tomb lies quietly next to his tomb, which is General Xu's last wish.
There is no airtight wall in the world. Although there was no tombstone, the villagers soon realized that General Xu was buried under this grave.
An endless stream of tourists came to worship. Until now, many people still remember this old man who struggled for the cause of people's liberation for half his life.
