CDR, as a professional graphic design software, is used by many friends to design fonts! Today we are going to share a tutorial on designing CDR graffiti characters. Interested friends may wish to follow the steps of the tutorial! The steps are simple, let’s do it together! CDR color graffiti design tutorial: 1. Open CorelDRAWX8, Ctrl+N to create a new document, and use the "hand drawing tool" F5 to draw any lines (it is not easy to have too many lines here, because too many and too messy lines will affect the computing speed and resulting in the inability to convert). 2.F12 brings up the "Outline Pen" dialog box and set the outline width as needed. 3. You cannot use the interactive fill tool for pure lines, so convert the stroke into an object and execute the "Object > Convert Outline to Object" command (shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+Q). 4. Click the "Interactive Fill Tool" in the toolbox, drag on the object to add a fill effect, and drag the color from the palette to fill the object converted from the stroke with a gradient. 5. Then copy multiple graffiti lines horizontally and combine the objects. 6. Use the "Text Tool" F8 to enter the desired text and letters. The size can be adjusted according to the graffiti lines. 7. Select the graffiti line, hold down the right button of the mouse, drag it to the text, and release the mouse. Select the "PowerClip Inside" command in the shortcut menu that appears.
8. At this time, the graffiti lines will be accurately cut to the inside of the letters. If the position is not what you want, you can also edit PowerClip to get the final effect. At this point, we can get a good-looking CDR graffiti character. You can learn how. Already? If you still want to learn more about CDR font design, then let’s talk about us~
