After the downfall of the Gang of Four, the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, which has far-reaching significance in the history of the * * * production party in China, was held from19781February 18 to 22. The meeting reviewed and resolved a large number of major unjust, false and misjudged cases and the merits and demerits of some important leaders in the history of the Party. Not long ago, according to the instructions of the Central Military Commission on verifying the killing of Comrade He Long, relevant departments formed a joint investigation team to verify the cause of He Long's death. After 1 years of work, the joint investigation team made a final report on March 24, 1980. The report lists a large number of conclusive evidence and points out that: "Comrade He Long was brutally persecuted to death by Lin Biao, Kang Sheng and Jiang Qing." Lin Biao, Jiang Qing, Kang Sheng and other "direct manipulation and control teams" tortured He Long mentally, abused him in life, restricted, delayed and treated him medically, which made Comrade He Long's diabetes develop, deteriorated into acidosis and caused a series of complications, and then died unjustly. During this verification, the Central Military Commission and the Central Health and Health Commission also organized famous medical experts from major hospitals in the capital to analyze the cause of He Long's death. In the conclusion part of the "Opinions on Comrade He Long's Medical Experience" signed by them, it reads: "1, Comrade He Long's diabetes was mild and stable, and the prognosis of this disease is generally good. 1967- 1968 further proves that even if there are other unfavorable factors, as long as there are general drugs and dietary conditions, the disease can still remain stable. 2. Comrade He Long's condition deteriorated from 1969. There are obvious causes for this deterioration, mainly the loss of adequate drug treatment and necessary diet treatment, and mental torture is also very important. Without the basis of this quantitative change, it will not cause the final ketoacidosis. 3. Although ketoacidosis is a serious complication of diabetes, in general, as long as appropriate and timely medical measures are taken, the prognosis is still good. However, in the treatment of ketoacidosis in He Long, some treatment measures are contrary to the general treatment principles, and there are major mistakes in some aspects, so that not only can it not play a therapeutic role, but it will worsen the condition step by step until death. " These two reports were quickly approved, and since then, He Long's assertion that he was persecuted to death has been confirmed. Two years later 1982 10 16 10, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "decision on comprehensively rehabilitating Comrade He Long". After an extraordinary tortuous road, history finally recovered its true colors. Green mountains are always there, and green waters are always there. As a historical monument, He Long's name and his brilliant achievements will always be engraved in people's hearts.
