China's travel card work implements a three-level examination and approval management system, in which the applicant's enterprise or department conducts the preliminary examination, the local foreign affairs office conducts the audit, and the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducts the final examination. At present, the power of audit has been delegated to foreign affairs offices all over the country, and all localities can formulate corresponding application and management measures in light of actual conditions. The required materials vary from place to place. Please refer to the Foreign Affairs Office of the local people's government for details.

The following are the application materials required by Beijing Foreign Affairs Office:

1. To apply for an APEC business travel card, the following paper materials are required (1 copy).

(a) the applicant's valid passport (the passport is valid for not less than 3 years and will be returned after verification) and a copy.

(2) Fill in a complete application form for Beijing (or district/county) APEC Business Travel Card.

(3) Fill in the complete APEC Business Travel Card Application Form (with photo signature).

(4) A copy of the business license and the applicant's ID card.

(5) Company profile (enterprise scale, benefits, assets and liabilities, profits and taxes, import and export), relevant certificates of frequent trips to APEC economies, and relevant information of applicants.

(6) No criminal record certificate issued by the public security department.
