In the Hi-Fi audio field, few people have a glorious history like marantz. In 2003, marantz celebrated its 50th birthday. A D& is jointly established by marantz and Tianlong Company; Company M became the holding company of marantz. The company has 1600 employees and its business covers more than 50 countries around the world.
Marantz's products include 198 1 released PM-6a preamplifier-main amplifier, and 1994 current feedback SC-5/SM-5 split front and rear stages which won the C.O.T.Y award. Innovations are back, such as the development of HDAM amplifier module, which further consolidates marantz's image in the field of advanced audio. 1995 vacuum tube amplifier project T- 1 adopts vacuum tube rectification, with pure class A design and no negative feedback. The input stage is amplified by 300B, and the output stage adopts 845 high-power transistor, with an output power of 50W. The price of T- 1 is as high as 5 million yen, which makes marantz return to the throne of vacuum tube amplifier. At the strong request of many fans, marantz also reprinted three classic inscriptions, models 7, 8B and 9. Wiring, materials and welding methods are exactly the same as those of more than 30 years ago, but the requirements for components are more stringent than in the past.
