In ancient times, it was called "ornament", that is, the "norm" of ornament. Also known as "running an example", it is the "convention" of paying money. Fiona Fang can't live without rules, and it's better to formulate a norm than no norm. However, there was no unified publishing management organization in ancient times, and Runbi was popular among the people and varied. It is difficult for buyers and sellers to reach an agreement on the price in person, so some painters (or writers) set up their own "decorations". Particularly interesting is Zheng Banqiao's "Runge Notice":
Six two, four two, two two, five two for fans.
He also pointed out in particular that "cash transactions" must be carried out:
It is better to send gifts and food than to send money; It's not necessarily what my brother likes from the government. Giving money makes you happy, and calligraphy and painting are also good. Gifts are tangled and credit is particularly bad. Old and tired, you can't say useless things to a gentleman.
This "notice" clearly explains the specifications, sizes, prices, and even payment methods, and prohibits credit, which is convenient for buyers and sellers to tailor clothes. More interestingly, he attached a poem to the "notice":
Painting bamboo is more than buying bamboo. The paper is six feet high and costs three thousand yuan.
Ren Qu (he) talks about the handover of the past, only when the autumn wind passes by.
The poem once again emphasizes that his "notice" is "true" rather than a joke, and asks the painter not to make a fuss about mediation. At the end of the "notice", he also solemnly signed the chapter and signed the words "Thank you at the end of this year".
This "Runge Notice", with clear price and vivid wit, embodies Zheng Banqiao's uninhibited character. There is no hypocrite spirit of "not talking about money", and there is no taste of hypocrisy, but the "Banqiao style" with authentic humor, frankness and frankness. It will not make people bored, but will only smile.
"Runge" is so detailed and "rules" are so clear-this great painter and calligrapher left a famous saying that he is not confused at all on the "principle issue" concerning his labor value!
