The specific procedures are:
1. Bring your ID card or household registration book to the police station where your household registration is located, the Exit and Entry Administration Department of the Public Security Bureau, the Exit and Entry Administration Office of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, or Participate in a tour group
Go to the travel agency to collect the "Application Form for Chinese Citizens to Go Abroad (British) for Private Purposes" (hereinafter referred to as the "Application Form")
2. Fill in the application form.
3. Submit the application. When submitting the application, you must bring the following materials:
A. The original copy of your ID card or household registration book and the first page of the household registration book, the personal information page, the change page and a copy of the ID card.
B. Original completed application form.
C. One color photo that meets the requirements.
4. Receive a passport. After the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau accepts the application, the time for approval, production and issuance of the passport is 14 working days. When collecting your passport, you must bring your ID card or household registration book, the "receipt for receiving the passport" and the 200 yuan production fee. If the certificate is not collected 3 months after the date of collection stated on the "receipt"

Be sure to fill in the "Approval Form for Application for Chinese Citizens to Travel Abroad (Border) for Private Purposes" carefully and meticulously, and fill it out item by item truthfully. When filling in, you must use black or blue-black ink, the handwriting must be clear and neat, and no alteration is allowed. The requirements for filling in specific items are:
First page:
"Applicant name", fill in your name;
"Acceptance date" and other items do not need to be filled in ;
Second page:
"Name", fill in your current name, which must use national standard simplified characters, consistent with the household registration book and resident ID card;

"Ethnicity" must be consistent with the household registration book and resident status

Page 4:
"Opinions of the unit or police station", fill in whether you agree with the applicant Go abroad.
The opinions include: whether the content filled in the application form is true, whether the applicant has five legal circumstances that prohibit the applicant from leaving the country, and whether the applicant is allowed to leave the country (border), etc. The person responsible for issuing opinions must sign, stamp with official seal, and indicate accurate contact number and date. The opinion of the unit or
or police station is valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.
Five circumstances under which exit is prohibited by law:
1. The defendant in a criminal case and the criminal suspect identified by the public security organ, the People's Procuratorate or the People's Court;
< p>2. Those who have been notified by the People’s Court that they have unsettled civil cases and are not allowed to leave the country;3. Those who have been sentenced and are serving their sentences;
4. Those who are undergoing reeducation through labor;

5. The relevant competent authority of the State Council believes that leaving the country will cause harm to national security or cause significant losses to national interests.
As for the opinions of units or police stations, it should be noted that:
(1) For national public servants, their organizational personnel departments shall issue opinions according to their cadre management authority.
(2) Employees of state-owned enterprises, state-controlled enterprises and public institutions shall have their opinions signed by the legal representative of the enterprise or institution or the personnel and security department of the unit authorized by them, and the legal representative
himself For departures, opinions shall be issued by the corresponding superior personnel management department.
(The above-mentioned personnel have left the original unit. But if the files are still in the original unit, the original unit should issue opinions.)
(3) Those who are over 14 years old (including 14 years old) are still in the original unit. For school students, opinions will be issued by the school where they are located. For those under the age of 14, their parents or guardians will be required to provide opinions, and they will be exempted from submitting opinions from the unit or police station. If the guardian is a grandparent, maternal grandparent or close relative, he or she must submit proof of kinship relationship, such as a
kinship certificate issued by the police station or guardianship unit and a household register that can prove kinship, etc.
(4) Applicants other than those in categories (1), (2) and (3) above, whose files are stored in the National Talent Exchange Center or the Beijing Employment Service Center, can be submitted by the "Center"
Issue opinions; if the files are stored in Beijing urban (county) talent exchange centers, opinions may be issued by the "center" and the district (county) Personnel Bureau or Labor Bureau respectively.
Talent exchange centers of various ministries and commissions, Beijing Education System Talent Exchange Service Center, etc. approved by the national competent authorities can only issue opinions
for internal mobile personnel of the system archived by the centers.
(5) For Beijing residents who work outside the city and meet the above categories (1) and (2), opinions will be issued by the unit where they work.
(6) For other personnel, opinions shall be issued by the police station where the permanent residence is located in Beijing.
Notes: First, all corresponding certification materials and copies must be in B5 or A4 paper size; second, because special passport photos need to be taken immediately, guests should pay attention to their clothing and appearance; third, stickers The photo on the application form must be a straight-edge, full-face, color ID photo without a hat, on glossy photo paper, with a light blue background.
