Use a digital camera or scanner to get digital photos.

Transfer the image file to the computer disk.

Open the picture in PS, as shown below:

Select-Color Range-Black Point-Parameter 200, as shown in the following figure:

Copy-Paste-Delete the background layer-Save as an image in PNG format. This forms the background text.
