Pen calligraphy, due to the limitation of hard pen, is only commonly used in regular script, running script (including running script), cursive script (including running script), thin gold book, signature pen and so on.

There are many kinds of regular script, for example, there is a kind of regular script called "Zanhua lower case". There are seven or eight kinds of regular script in Founder's font library, namely, regular script in Northern Wei Dynasty, regular script in Song Dynasty, regular script in Liu Kai and Shi Sheng.
