Born in 1970, he spent his childhood in a small town in Taicang, Jiangsu Province. From the time when Xiao Wang Yimei
went to the fourth grade, as long as it was a holiday, Her mother must ask her to write essays every day. In 1985, she walked through the stone road in the small town and came to Suzhou Preschool Normal School to study. She studied music, dance, piano, and painting at a kindergarten normal school, but her interest was always in literary creation. She served as the president of the school's literary club and the leader of the fairy tale troupe. In 1998, her alma mater sent her to the kindergarten of Soochow University as a teacher, and she has been working in the kindergarten for 13 years. During this period, she studied preschool education management at Nanjing Normal University, read books on child psychology, pedagogy, etc., and wrote papers and articles on kindergarten language teaching and teaching methods. Among them, the teaching method of "Last Year's Tree" was once used by The National People's Congress resumed publication and reprinted it, and edited a kindergarten language reference book and exercise book. Advanced educational concepts and views on children have influenced her creations, making her fairy tale works show tendencies such as diversified themes, novel imagination, strong sense of modernity, and humor. He has been engaged in fairy tale creation since 1999. Since 2000, she has worked at the School of Social Sciences, Soochow University. The change in lifestyle led to changes in her creations, and her works began to explore issues of growth and mental health. The representative work "The Mole's Moon River" is a coming-of-age story suitable for primary school students to read. From 1994 to 2004, Wang Yimei published more than 300 short fairy tales, more than 80 works, and published full-length fairy tales "The Mole's Moon River", "The Cat Living on Rainy Street", and "The Treasure of Dinosaurs" , "The Puppet Forest" series of fairy tales "The Confused Pig", short fairy tale collections "The Twelfth Dead Leaf Butterfly", "Ants in the Book", "Rabbit's Carrot" and more than 20 kinds of picture books. He won the 10th National "Five One Project" Award, the 5th and 6th National Outstanding Children's Literature Awards, the 5th National Book Award, and won many awards such as the Bing Xin Children's Book Award and the Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award. His works have been selected into primary school Chinese textbooks such as the People's Education Press, and many of his works have been selected into the 100 kinds of books recommended by the General Administration of Press and Publication to teenagers across the country, and the national "Three Hundred" books.
