Located in the north of Zhuzhou City, Zhuzhou Yunlong Demonstration Zone is one of the five demonstration zones in the "two-oriented" social construction comprehensive reform experimental zone approved by the State Council in 2007. The Party Working Committee and Management Committee were established in 2009. With a total area of 97.9 square kilometers, it governs 1 town (Tian Yun), 2 streets (Lin Xue, Longtoupu) and 23 communities with a total population of 82,000.

Zhuzhou Yunlong Demonstration Zone is adjacent to the ecological green center of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration. Tian Yun under its jurisdiction has the reputation of "National Flower Production Demonstration Base" and "Hometown of Flowers and Trees in China". It has pollution-free and original ecological green vegetation resources, and a number of high-quality landscape resources with more vegetation, less cultivated land, beautiful scenery and open terrain, such as Yunfeng Lake Scenic Area, which has great development potential.
