Procedures for the arrival of ships in Hong Kong
1. Handling of entry formalities for China-registered ships.

1. Except for ships that have completed pre-inspection, ships registered in China are not allowed to load or unload goods or get on or off personnel before completing the entry formalities.

2. The entry formalities for ships registered in China should be completed within 24 hours after the ship arrives in Hong Kong (anchorage), and the ships that have completed the pre-inspection procedures should complete the formal entry formalities immediately (not more than 2 hours) after the ship berths.

3. The owner of the ship or his agent shall carry one copy of the general declaration form in IMO standard format, one copy of the passenger list (no passengers), one copy of the declaration form of the crew's articles and one copy of the declaration form of guns and ammunition (no guns and ammunition); Go through the entry formalities at the Duty Business Section of our station with two copies of the Crew List and a valid passport or certificate.

4. All documents must be in IMO format, truthfully filled in, signed by the captain and sealed by the ship.

5. The arrival/departure date and time in the general declaration form shall include two times of arrival and berthing, and the name and country of the ship's embarkation shall be indicated in the anchor position and voyage summary. For the voyage to be determined, the disembarkation and remarks column can be filled with "whether there are guns and ammunition" and "ship call sign".

6. The declaration form of crew members' articles must be original, and each crew member's signature must be his own.

7. The column of "CertificateNo." on the "Crew List" should accurately indicate the certificate type and certificate number, and if there are female crew members, it should also be indicated separately.

Two. Go through the exit formalities for ships registered in China.

1. The owner of the ship or his agent shall go through the formalities for the ship's departure in Zone 1 of our station within 4 hours before the ship's departure. Ships that have gone through exit formalities are prohibited from getting on and off personnel and loading and unloading goods without the consent of the frontier inspection station.

2. The ship owner or his agent shall submit/kloc-0 copies of the General Declaration Form for Ships Sailing on International Routes in People's Republic of China (PRC), the Crew List, the Passenger List (no passengers are exempt from inspection) and the self-inspection report, and go through the exit formalities at the business department of our station with valid passports or certificates.

3. All documents must be in IMO format, and relevant information must be truthfully filled in, with the signature of the captain and the seal of the ship.

4. The voyage summary of the general declaration form shall indicate the name and country of the ship's departure, and fill in "crew change" and "ship call sign" in the remarks column.

5. The column of "CertificateNo." on the Crew List should accurately indicate the type and number of the certificate, and if there are female crew members, it should also be indicated separately.
