Qinan
Qinan is a kind of agarwood, namely Kananga, another name of agarwood. In the Qing dynasty, the poem "Talking with Chen Zhangpu about the past" said: "The mountain rents seashells, and the city is cheap." Is the best agarwood, called agar in ancient times, softer than agarwood. Usually, only a very small part of a large piece of gourmet heavy spices can be regarded as strange nan, which is extremely precious.
"Qinan" is a word translated from Sanskrit. "Duojialuo" was often written in Buddhist scriptures in the Tang Dynasty, and later there were names such as Galand, Ganan and Qinan. Qinan is a sublimation and qualitative change of agarwood, but it needs extremely harsh special conditions. Qin 'an belongs to agarwood, but a piece of agarwood may not have Qin 'an.
It is a Daphne plant, agarwood or agarwood, and there is a lot of resin near the root, which is sweet and warm. Qin 'an's fragrance is elegant and noble, which can only be felt by personal experience. Since the Han Dynasty, the royal family has been offering sacrifices to heaven, praying for blessings, worshipping Buddha, worshiping God and incense indoors, among which Qinan is the most important incense material.
Among the Siku Quanshu, Zhancheng (now the kingdom of southern Vietnam) is the best and orthodox, but other countries that produce agarwood are also surprisingly fragrant.
