I. Handling process
Step 1: Enter the information. Log in to the official account of Dongguan Traffic Police WeChat, click Business Processing, select the electric bicycle service module, enter the "electric bicycle registration", then carry out real-name authentication, and input and upload personal and vehicle information.
Step 2: Watch traffic safety publicity and education videos (***3 videos, with a total duration of about 14 minutes, which can be watched alone). In the "Electric Bicycle Service" module of the official account of "Dongguan Traffic Police" WeChat, you can watch the traffic safety publicity and education video through the "Traffic Safety Publicity and Education" column. If you can't watch it online, you can get traffic safety publicity and education materials or watch traffic safety publicity and education films at the registration point to improve traffic safety awareness.
Step 3: Submit the application. According to the prompts, take photos of the uploaded ID card, car purchase invoice, vehicle certificate, 45-degree photo of the left front corner and 45-degree photo of the left rear corner of the electric bicycle, select relevant items in the application form for electric bicycle business generated by the system, and then confirm by electronic signature. To apply for a temporary license plate, you need to read and understand the contents of the electronic notice, check it at the prompt, and then submit the application for background review (the background staff will check it according to the license plate of the town where the owner is located).
Step 4: Make an appointment to register. After the approval, the system will push the WeChat notification information, click the notification information, and the system will jump to the car inspection reservation interface, select the appointment time and place and the way to collect the license plate (mail or collect).
Step 5: Check the car. Bring relevant materials and electric bicycles, arrive at the registration point according to the appointment time, and the staff will inspect the vehicle. After passing the inspection, the owner pays the license fee online (if the license is obtained by mail, the delivery postage is also paid), and then selects the number. (The number plate of the "new national standard" vehicle is determined by the way of "1 slave 5". If the illegal vehicle applies for a temporary number plate, the temporary number plate will be randomly determined by the system).
Step 6: Get the license. Car owners can choose to mail or collect their own license plates. If you choose postal service, the postal staff will deliver the driving license and license plate and install the license plate. If you choose to collect the license plate, after receiving the information notice that you can collect the license plate, the owner will go to the original registration point to collect the driving license and license plate, and the staff at the collection point will install the license plate.
