For the notarization of preserved documentary evidence, physical evidence and audio-visual materials, notaries will conduct on-site inspection, extract evidence on the spot, and keep records of relevant information. In the process of preserving physical evidence, documentary evidence and audio-visual materials, if a professional institution or professional is entrusted to take photos, record, video, survey, evaluate or identify, it shall be signed by the professional institution and the undertaker, and sealed by the notary office in time. Physical evidence that is difficult to preserve will be extracted by recording, drawing, taking photos, recording and copying.
Save the testimony of the witness, and the witness shall write it in front of the notary, or the party who uses the testimony shall ask the witness in front of the notary and record it. When necessary, the notary will ask the witness, and the notary will use audio and video recording as appropriate to preserve the formation process of the witness's testimony.
Legal basis: Article 11 of the Notary Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). According to the application of natural persons, legal persons or other organizations, the notary office shall handle the following notarization matters:
(1) contract (2) inheritance (3) entrustment, declaration, gift, will (4) property division (5) bidding and auction (6) marital status, kinship, adoption relationship (7) birth, survival, death, identity, experience, education, degree, position, title, presence or absence.
For matters that should be notarized according to laws and administrative regulations, the relevant natural persons, legal persons or other organizations shall apply to the notary office for notarization.
