1. Login system
Candidates should log on to Hubei government service network (/) to apply. Before applying, they should complete the website registration, and the information of ID card and mobile phone number filled in during registration should be consistent with the registration information on the candidate service platform. 2. Submit an application
Search the homepage of Hubei Government Affairs Service Network for "Confirmation of Exemption Courses for Self-study Exams in Higher Education", and find the items of "Confirmation of Exemption Courses for Self-study Exams in Higher Education (Exemption for Academic Qualifications)" and "Confirmation of Exemption Courses for Self-study Exams in Higher Education (Exemption for Non-academic Qualifications)", and select academic certificates or non-academic certificates for "online processing" respectively.
Please fill in the relevant information accurately and upload the following required materials before submitting:
(1) Those who apply for exemption from the examination with academic credentials must upload: a clear photo of the original examination report card of the course to be exempted from the examination issued by the academic credentials issuing unit (the graduate registration form or the score certificate copied and stamped by the archives of the original graduation school). (Note: The system only supports uploading one photo of the report card. (2) Non-academic certificates are exempt from examination, which must be uploaded: the negative photos of Chinese people's ID cards (with the identity information such as the holder's photo, registration items (name, gender, nationality, birth, address, citizenship number) and the original photos of non-academic certificates.
3. Check the progress of the application
After the successful application of the course exemption, the Hubei government service system will automatically generate the application number. 4. Online confirmation

(1) Academic certificates are exempt from examination. If the academic certificate is confirmed to be passed, the results of the course exemption will be directly filed into the score database; If the amendment is returned, the candidate needs to modify the application information within three days, and the application for exemption of overdue academic qualifications will be automatically completed; If it fails to pass the confirmation, the Provincial Education Examinations Institute will return it and explain the reasons for the return.
(2) Non-academic certificates are exempt from examination. 3. Precautions for candidates
1. Holding the information of academic certificates and non-academic certificates is the prerequisite for handling the course exemption. Candidates are required to register and confirm their information through the "candidate service platform", and then complete their identity registration and login through the "Hubei government service network" before applying for the course exemption. Anyone who uses academic certificates to apply for course exemption must complete the pre-qualification examination before applying.
2. Candidates with non-academic credentials whose identity information is inconsistent with the current identity information must upload the proof materials of identity information change (the personal page of the household registration book or other effective materials that can prove the change of their identity information) in the column of "Photos of Resident Register" of the application materials. Please ensure that the application materials are accurate and complete, otherwise the confirmation result of the application for exemption from the course will be affected.
3. Academic certificates and non-academic certificates can only be applied once per processing cycle, and repeated applications are not allowed. Candidates are requested to ensure that the courses that need to be exempted from examination are selected at one time before submitting their applications.
4. The photos submitted by the candidates online must be true and effective, and the images are clear. If the confirmation of exemption from the exam is not passed due to the quality of the pictures, the candidates are responsible for it. Candidates must be responsible for the authenticity of materials and information. Those who submit false materials to obtain exam-free results, once verified, will be dealt with according to the Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations.
5. After the candidates submit the application for exemption from the course, for the application with incomplete data upload or incorrect information input, the application will be returned for modification when the examination place and the Provincial Education Examinations Institute confirm it online, and at the same time, a short message will be sent to remind the candidates that they need to modify the application information of the current course within three days. 1. Self-study examination courses in our province are exempted from examination according to the principle of equivalent academic level, the same or similar courses and equivalent credits, and the courses that meet the requirements and have obtained the national recognized academic qualifications and the higher education self-study examination courses are confirmed.
(1) Those who have obtained academic qualifications not lower than those who have applied for the self-study examination in our province may be exempted from the public basic courses, elective courses at the same level and self-study examination related courses that have been studied, have the same course name and requirements and have achieved qualified results.
(2) Full-time college graduates, undergraduates and dropouts who apply for the self-study examination in our province can be exempted from the public basic courses that have been studied, the course name and requirements are equivalent and have achieved qualified results; Full-time undergraduate students with pre-qualification in junior college can apply for undergraduate-level majors in our province, and they can be exempted from the public * * * basic courses that have been studied, the course name and requirements are equivalent and have achieved qualified results; Full-time undergraduate graduates who apply for undergraduate-level majors in our province's self-study exam can be exempted from the public basic courses that have been studied, the course name and requirements are equivalent and have achieved qualified results.
"The course name and requirements are equivalent" refers to the corresponding course with the same or similar course name and no less credits than the self-study exam. Full-time college graduates must meet or exceed the requirements stipulated in the professional plan of self-study exam (each credit of self-study exam is equivalent to 18 hours); Self-study exam graduates shall be selected according to the principle of the same course code and course name or the same level.
2. Candidates who have passed CET, PETS and NCRE certificates for self-study exams are exempted from taking relevant courses of self-study exams.
(1) Candidates who have obtained the qualified scores (425 points or above) in CET-4 and CET-6 can be exempted from taking English (I) and English (II) courses according to the professional level they apply for.
(2) Self-study exam candidates who have passed the written test of the National English Proficiency Test (PETS) level 2 or above (6 points or above) can be exempted from taking the self-study exam English according to the professional level they apply for (1); Self-study exam candidates who have passed the written test of PETS-3 or above (6 points or above) can also be exempted from taking the self-study exam English (II) course according to the professional level they apply for.

3. In 218, the scores of the exemption courses for curriculum reform majors in our province shall not exceed the minimum credit requirements for professional core courses (that is, the credit ratio of the exemption courses shall not exceed 5% of the minimum total credits for the major to be graduated); According to the "Basic Standards for Higher Education Self-study Examination", the majors that are adjusted and newly opened for examination shall not exceed 5% of the total credits of the major to be graduated. If the credits of the exam-free courses that have been handled through various means exceed 5% of the minimum total credits required for graduation majors, candidates should make up the difference credits in the corresponding theoretical courses of this major before applying for graduation.
(2) according to the relevant regulations of the state on the exemption of self-study examination courses, educational examination institutions and examiners' schools in various cities (prefectures and forest areas) in the province should check and approve the relevant certification materials submitted by candidates (academic certificates, transcripts stamped by the school archives issued by the original academic qualifications) and the applied exemption courses.
