Charlie is Serena's cousin and Lily's sister's daughter. Lily's sister didn't allow her to contact Serena's people, so she didn't show up before for fear that Serena would lead her astray. It was not until recently that lily went to prison for forging serena's signature that her sister (who came out at the end of the second or third season) came back to see her. That's when Charlie came. At first, it was the image of a good baby (but I never liked her), but now it's getting worse and I like Dan.

After Juliet left, It seems that Serena is with Ben, and then she doesn't get along with her mother. After Vanessa was framed by Juliet, it was basically over with Dan. Dan and Blair were on good terms for a while (the writer finally brought the most ridiculous couple together). The only thing that appeals to me is poor Chuck. Every time I see his melancholy eyes, it hurts. Although 1 doesn't look good.
