As shown in the figure:
Please try the following solutions:
1. Connect the laptop to the AC power supply, start the computer again, check the AC adapter, make sure that the plug is plugged in, make sure that the power LED on the AC adapter is on (if any), and make sure that the computer receives AC power from the wall socket. If the computer can run normally under AC power supply, please charge the battery for 30 minutes to 1 hour, and then restart the computer.
2. Note: Charging the battery for 30 minutes to 1 hour is called "drip charging". "Drip charging" adopts small current and constant current to charge the battery slowly under deep discharge. If the battery is not used for a long time, deep discharge will occur.
3.Caps Lock/Num Lock flashes once-the ——CPU can't run normally and the processor can't run normally (flashing code 1). Contact HP.
4. Help Caps Lock/Num Lock flashes twice -BIOS is damaged. If there is a BIOS damage error (flashing code 2), you may not notice the flashing code, because when the computer realizes the error, it will immediately restart, try to restore the BIOS, and then restart again. Therefore, you may find that the startup process is very long, and a message may appear when you start, indicating that the BIOS has been restored. If this happens, please update the BIOS on your computer. If the automatic BIOS recovery fails, please try to use HP PC Diagnostics to make a 3-in-1 1 BIOS recovery tool for manual recovery.
5.Caps Lock/Num Lock flashes three times-the memory module cannot work normally. If you encounter a memory failure (flashing code 3), please follow the instructions in the following table. Note: Some memory module errors allow the computer to boot to the system, but there may be failures such as restarting or no display.
6.Caps Lock/Num Lock flashes four times-the graphics controller can't work normally. If you encounter a graphics card controller failure (flashing code 4), please contact HP for assistance.
7.Caps Lock/Num Lock flashes five times-general system motherboard failure. General system motherboard failure (flashing code 5) refers to a component failure that is not included in other indicator error codes. Contact HP for help.
8.Caps Lock/Num Lock flashes six times -BIOS authentication fails, and BIOS authentication errors rarely occur (flashing code 6). This problem occurs when the BIOS installed on the computer is inconsistent with the hardware and the signature of the system hardware cannot be verified. The goal of BIOS authentication is to ensure that the BIOS on the computer is not affected.
9. If the BIOS authentication fails, the computer will automatically perform BIOS recovery. If the computer cannot automatically restore the BIOS, please perform the BIOS recovery manually. If the automatic BIOS recovery fails, please try to use HP PC Diagnostics to make a 3-in-1 1 BIOS recovery tool for manual recovery.
