1932- 1938, professor of biology department of Peiping University, researcher of Institute of Biology, National Peiping Research Institute. 1938 ——1941served as professor and provost of Hunan normal university. Wang Deyao's research on the changes and functions of the main organelles-Golgi apparatus, mitochondria, microtubule system and the relationship between nucleus and cytoplasm in some differentiation processes of animal and plant cells has attracted the attention of experts at home and abroad. Professor Wang Deyao passed away on June, 2000 10. His younger brothers (academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, expert in hydroacoustics) and Wang (academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, expert in nuclear chemistry) are also alumni of the Middle School Attached to Beijing Normal University.
