European Picasso fans catch up with Beijing

As one of the greatest masters of modern art in the history of the 20th century, Picasso's creative style changed his life. This exhibition is different from the previous ones in that it is not only a large number of original works, but also a selection of works that run through Picasso's creative period from 1920 to 1968. It is a witness to the change of Picasso's creative style, including 8 series. It can be divided into Nature, Quicksand, Celestine, Carmen, Bullfighting, Twenty Poems by gongola, Ridiculous Man, Trigony Hat, etc. From animal paintings and portraits to poetic plots and classic literary stories, the audience can clearly feel the evolution of Picasso's creative thoughts and styles. Among them, 32 paintings of Picasso's "Triangle Hat" series created in 1920 are regarded as Italy's national treasure collection, which has been so completely displayed to the world for the first time after 84 years of dust collection. Therefore, the organizing committee of this exhibition even received an application from Britain, when a group of European Picasso lovers will visit Beijing from afar, because these works have been hidden except for exhibitions in Italy and France, the collection countries.

1 100 million yuan insurance premium can be ignored.

All the exhibits are from the Picasso Foundation in France. As the only institution in the world that owns most of Picasso's paintings in his life, they mainly rent these paintings from private collectors in European countries through the Italian Cultural and Art Center and the Lodewo Museum in France. Every painting is priceless. The collector never intended to auction it, but promised to borrow it in China for a period of time during the Sino-French Cultural Year, so that French friends could enjoy these treasures with their own eyes. The safety of such a priceless and long-lost masterpiece of Picasso's painting came to China across the ocean, which became the most concerned issue. After negotiation, these paintings were finally insured for more than 1 100 million yuan. However, the Italian Art Center, the foreign organizer, still said: "The amount of insurance money is very small compared with the appraisal of paintings, and the total value of the whole batch of exhibits is still difficult to estimate."

In order to ensure foolproof, more than 200 works were directly airlifted from French and Italian to China. The organizer specially arranged a special computer room to transport these exhibits, and at the same time sent special security personnel to take care of the whole transportation process in turn 24 hours a day. The airlines also specially used air containers with special indexes such as earthquake resistance, compression resistance, moisture resistance and fire prevention for these exhibits to ensure that these precious paintings will not be damaged during transportation. When exhibited in Shenzhen, there is a bodyguard for every four paintings in the exhibition hall. In Beijing, the requirements for security level will be stricter. Jin Liwei
