All departments that use disposable infusion (blood transfusion, injection) and other medical supplies should designate special personnel to manage, use, disinfect and recycle them, and record and sign them. Disinfection should be carried out: the disinfectant should be prepared accurately and its concentration should be monitored with chlorine-containing test paper every day. The available chlorine content is 500mg/L, and the disinfectant should be replaced every three days. If there is pollution, it should be replaced in time and recorded. The signs of disinfection barrels are clearly classified. The plastic buckets are numbered one, two and three. The first bucket is used to disinfect infusion sets, the second bucket is used to disinfect syringes, and the third bucket is used to disinfect infusion set needles and syringe needles. Transfusion sets and syringes are sent to the supply room to replace the old ones, and blood transfusion sets, needles, scalp needles, drainage tubes and urinary tubes are all burned.
The supply room carefully counts and registers the recovered disposable infusion sets and syringes, destroys them, disinfects them, dries them, and then packs them in woven bags or yellow plastic bags for recycling. Shape damage must be achieved by cutting two knives into three sections, one at the joint of infusion set plug and the other at the dropper, cutting the joint between syringe and needle and pulling out the needle plug.
2. Management of discarded disposable medical supplies
Discarded disposable medical supplies are recycled by the hospital, and the time is arranged between 3-5 pm every day. Under special circumstances, the department is on call for timely recovery, with records and signatures.
3. Incinerator management
Incinerators should be managed by special personnel, and the recovered disposable medical supplies should be burned on time, and the number and times of recovered incineration items should be recorded and signed.
4. Supervision and management
Hospital Infection Management Section, Nursing Department and Logistics Department are specifically responsible for supervising and guiding the shape destruction, disinfection, recycling and incineration of disposable medical supplies in the hospital, and strictly supervising the recycling in the designated plastic factory (Heze Jin Xin Plastic Factory).
5. Administrative punishment
Where it is found that disposable medical supplies are not disinfected, disfigured, burned, recycled or sold to illegal traders after use, administrative sanctions shall be imposed on the responsible person and relevant leaders in addition to investigating the legal responsibility and economic punishment of the parties concerned.
