How to quickly de-ice when the refrigerator freezes? Rapid deicing method
1. The most basic method is to adjust the temperature compensation to 0 first, then close the refrigerator (without temperature compensation directly), unplug the power supply, take out the frozen layer and the contents of the drawer, let the frost in it melt naturally, dry it with a rag, and then restore it.
2. Cut off the power supply of the refrigerator, clean up the things in the refrigerator, slowly blow the ice with a hair dryer or an electric fan, and add a towel at the bottom of the refrigerator to absorb water. After the wind blows, the frost layer will melt quickly and be removed again more easily. After the ice surface is completely cleaned, it is best to wipe it with a clean towel dipped in venom, and then wipe it with clear water.
3. After disconnecting the refrigerator, take out the food in the box, and then put one or two aluminum lunch boxes filled with boiling water into the freezer according to the size of the freezer. After a few minutes, the frost on the freezer wall begins to fall off (for those that haven't fallen off, you can gently pull them by hand). If there is no metal evaporation plate at the top of the freezer, the lunch box filled with boiling water should be covered to avoid the deformation of the plastic inner wall due to sudden temperature rise at low temperature. Using this method, it is much more time-saving than heating up and defrosting yourself when there is a power failure.
4. After defrosting (deicing) the refrigerator every time, dry the freezer with a towel, and then coat a layer of vegetable oil on the surrounding inner wall. The next time it frosts, the suction between the frost and the refrigerator wall will be greatly reduced because it adheres to the oily refrigerator wall, so it is easy to peel off the hard blocks without much effort.
5. When it is necessary to defrost (de-ice) the refrigerator, first cut off the power supply of the refrigerator, and then aim the electric fan or blower at the freezing room to the maximum extent. The frost layer will melt quickly after being blown by the wind, making it easier to remove. If the refrigerator is used for a week or half a month, it is better to turn off the power first, open all the doors of the refrigerator, and then turn on the power after the ice has completely melted.
In life, we often encounter a thick layer of ice on the inner wall of the refrigerator, which is also worrying. In fact, the solution is very simple. The most basic method is to unplug the refrigerator directly and take out all the substances stored in the refrigerator. And then let the frost melt inside. Pay attention to wipe the inner wall with a rag after melting. If you think this method is not fast enough, you can try other methods mentioned in this article.
