(1) The mail server deploys Wotong SSL certificate to ensure the security of mail information when users log in to the mailbox on the Web;
(2) Use Wotong client certificate for strong identity authentication of Web login, instead of insecure user name and password authentication;
(3) The mail receiving server (POP3/IMAP) and the sending server (SMTP) deploy SSL certificates to ensure link encryption;
(4) Using Wotong client certificate to realize email encryption and digital signature in Web mode or/and email client software mode.
In the above technical measures, (1) and (3) ensure that when the mail is sent and received on the transmission link from the sender's computer to the sender's mail server, the mail content is securely encrypted by SSL and cannot be illegally stolen and tampered with; Measure (2) is to use the client certificate to realize identity authentication, so as to ensure that legal users are using this email account; Measure (4) ensures that e-mail is encrypted on the whole transmission link from the sender's computer to the recipient's computer, and cannot be illegally stolen and tampered with.
