Money: There are deposit requirements for opening a bank account in Thailand. Together with the annual fee and issuance fee of debit card, it is basically enough to prepare about 2,500 baht.
Note: if you have no visa for more than one year, you can open an account in the bank with the purchase contract after ordering the property; If you have a work visa in Thailand, you can go directly with a work permit and a valid visa.
The process of opening an account is similar to that in China. First, the bank will review whether the materials are complete. The account holder needs to fill in the account opening application form and then formally register to open an account.
After opening an account successfully, please check the bank account number, the name of the head of household, the name of the bank, the address of the bank and the SWIFT code of overseas remittance.
When opening an account in Thailand, you should pay attention to the differences with mainland banks:
There are deposit requirements for opening a bank account in Thailand, with a current account of 0000 and a fixed term of 1000 TB. Thai bank accounts have a minimum account balance requirement, and the current account is generally TB2000. If there is no transaction in the account for one year and the balance is lower than this amount, the account management fee will be deducted, generally TB50/ month; Thai baht current account can apply for debit card, and multiple accounts can be bound at the same time, including current account and fixed account; Debit cards issued by Thai banks have costs and annual fees, which are generally similar to TB 100 and TB200.
