What does a cost engineer do?
The work scope of the cost engineer includes:

(a) to assist registered cost engineers in the preparation and review of investment estimates, project budget estimates, project budget (final accounts), final accounts, pre-tender estimate and tender offer of construction projects;

(2) In the business of economic verification of project cost, assist the registered cost engineer to determine the project change price, calculate the project claim cost, determine and adjust the contract price, identify the project economic disputes, and control the project cost at all stages of the construction project.
