(a) to assist registered cost engineers in the preparation and review of investment estimates, project budget estimates, project budget (final accounts), final accounts, pre-tender estimate and tender offer of construction projects;
(2) In the business of economic verification of project cost, assist the registered cost engineer to determine the project change price, calculate the project claim cost, determine and adjust the contract price, identify the project economic disputes, and control the project cost at all stages of the construction project.
Article 20
[Professional Regulations]
Cost engineers shall not be employed by more than two units at the same time. When helping or assisting other units, the cost engineer shall not sign the project cost achievement document and affix its special seal for employment.
Article 21
[Professional Regulations]
After obtaining the qualification of registered cost engineer, the cost engineer shall practice in the name of registered cost engineer and return the qualification certificate and special seal for practice of cost engineer.
