Department of defense YJM 308, very durable. From 2002 to 2003, I bought this Yngwie signature overload effector at the piano exhibition. As can be seen from the name, this is the standard configuration of Yngwie timbre. But don't expect that only this piece can produce the timbre of Yngwie.

Its real use is to make a booster for Marshall speakers. That is what we usually call "push". Push Marshall with 308. The timbre produced by the superposition of two layers of distortion is very full. The only drawback is that the noise is amplified twice by distortion. If noise reduction is not needed, only noise can be heard. Yngwie is used to string a BOSS NS-2 between these two things to reduce noise.

The signal processed by YJM308 is distorted by Marshall, and it is easy to get Yngwie's gorgeous and full solo timbre. This is the most basic idea of making Yngwie timbre. No Marshall can simulate Marshall on a speaker simulator or synthesizer.
