How to apply for an APEC card if your passport is valid for less than 3 years?

Since the validity period of the APEC Business Travel Card is 5 years, the validity period of applying for a city passport must be more than 6 years. It is recommended to apply for a new passport.

1. To apply for the APEC Business Travel Card, the following paper materials (1 copy) should be provided

(1) The applicant’s valid passport (the passport is valid for not less than 3 years, after verification return) and copies.

(2) Complete the application form for the APEC Business Travel Card in Beijing (or district or county).

(3) Complete the "APEC Business Travel Card Application Form" (with photo and signature).

(4) Copy of business license and applicant’s ID card.

(5) Company profile (company size, efficiency, assets and liabilities, profits and taxes, import and export status), relevant certificates for frequent travel to APEC economies, and other materials and an introduction to the applicant.

(6) Certificate of no criminal record issued by the public security department.

(7) Relevant certification materials required by each applicant.

2. Electronic materials (CD-ROM) should be provided

2. Size :The aspect ratio is 3:4. Maximum width is 600 pixels and minimum is 50 pixels; height is maximum 800 pixels and minimum is 50 pixels. It is recommended to upload photos that are 300 pixels wide and 400 pixels high.

3. Photos must be in color, black and white photos will not be accepted.

(2) Signature

2. Size: aspect ratio is 1:2. Maximum width is 600 pixels and minimum is 50 pixels; height is maximum 300 pixels and minimum is 50 pixels. It is recommended to upload photos that are 300 pixels wide and 150 pixels high.

3. The signature fills the border.
