Prepare the required materials:
White cardboard, watercolor paint (any paint can be used, here I use the Japanese lucky colorful portable box), brush (any brand of watercolor pen and brush can be used, as long as you pay attention to the small one, I use Qiu brush), scissors, art knife, ribbon (which I use when I embroider pillows with silk ribbon, which is really a good housekeeping skill) and pen washing cup (any cup).
Step 1: Cut bookmarks. Cut the white cardboard into strips with scissors. Pay attention to the width, don't cut it too wide or too narrow. Tip: You can cut a small arc at the four corners of the strip, so it looks soft and round, not square and stiff. In the picture above, the two pieces on the left are not cut, and the two pieces on the right are cut. Is the effect intuitive?
Step 2: spread water and preliminary spot dyeing. By the way, I forgot to mention that this bookmark doesn't even use a pencil to sketch. It only needs to outline the approximate position of the flower tree and then brush it directly. Isn't it simple and convenient? ! ) Soak the brush with water and gently smear it on the bookmark surface. When the white paper is still wet, use a brush to touch rouge and blush to dye the flower tree.
Step 3: Continue to smudge. Different strokes of clicking, pressing and wiping with a brush (yes, it's so capricious, you can draw as you like! ), showing different branches of the flower tree. Pay attention to mixing pigments with clear water to distinguish the shades of colors.
Step 4: Continue to smudge, so as to create the effect that the flower tree layer forest is completely dyed. Patiently use a brush to deepen the picture layer by layer. If you think the color is lighter, you can cover it with a darker red. Pay attention to draw flowers and trees at different levels to create a layer of forest full of dye.
Step 5: Draw the trunk and branches. Draw the trunk and branches of the flower tree with deep ochre. Note that some branches are covered with flowers, so you can't draw them.
Step 6: Seal. Congratulations! Basically, the watercolor part of the flower tree is finished! Poke a small seal engraved with your name in the lower right corner of the bookmark, and a sense of satisfaction arises spontaneously!
Tips ①: Because bookmarks are small and delicate, don't use large seals, which will affect the beauty of the overall layout. My seal is 1cm× 1cm. I bought it online. It's the right size. Tips ②: Let's talk about the overall layout of drawing bookmarks first. How to compose a picture when you get a blank bookmark?
The most important thing is to know how to leave blank. Don't smear the whole bookmark, be sure to leave a part. At the very least, you should leave a signed and stamped part, usually in one of the four corners of the bookmark.
In addition, the priority of the picture should be highlighted. You can't draw everywhere, so the picture will be messy. If the focus of the picture is at the top left, then there should be less ink or blank space at the bottom right. This is the case with the flower tree. If there are two flowers in the picture, you should highlight one of them and let the other drop for a second. This will give the picture a sense of hierarchy.
Step 7: Tie a ribbon on the bookmark. Carve a small gap on the top of the bookmark with a utility knife (move it gently, don't break the bookmark), put the ribbon in and tie a knot.
