The steps are as follows:

1. Prepare the original copy of the citizenship or birth certificate document;

2. Two identical photos, which must be taken within 12 months The photo should be taken in black and white or color. The photo studio’s name, address and date of taking should be printed on the back of the photo. One of the photos must be signed by the guarantor to prove that the person in the photo is the same as the applicant;

3 . If you are applying for an adult passport, you need to provide a Canadian passport or related travel documents issued in the past five years, and at least one identity document issued by the Canadian federal, provincial or municipal government;

4. If you are applying for a child passport, you need to provide a Canadian passport or travel document that has been issued to the child in the past;

5. Bring the above preparation materials and go to the passport office to apply.
