1On the evening of June 25th, 945, the San Francisco Conference unanimously adopted the Charter of the United Nations and the Statute of the International Court of Justice as an integral part of it. On the morning of 26th, at the San Francisco Veterans Memorial Hall, 153 delegates from 50 countries signed the Charter of the United Nations in Chinese, French, Russian, English and Spanish. The first person to sign the charter was the delegation of China after eight years of arduous war of resistance. The signing ceremony lasted eight hours. The 50 countries that signed the Charter and Poland signed the Charter on June 6, 2005, becoming the founding members of the United Nations.
