I often teach everyone to talk about principles in big things and style in small things to shape students' healthy and harmonious personality.
First of all, based on the principle of "supporting the weak with the strong and improving together", I divided the students into ten study support groups based on their learning ability and ideological awareness. I asked each group of students to choose a group leader, come up with a group name, and make up a struggle slogan within ten minutes. The students felt very fresh about this approach, their enthusiasm was brought into play, and they spoke enthusiastically. Through student autonomy, cooperation, communication, and discussion, each group completed the task excellently within the specified time. The students also made up loud slogans full of confidence and fighting spirit.
Then, when arranging students’ seats, I asked each group’s seats to be placed together to take into account students with learning difficulties and low ideological awareness. Pair students who study well and think well with students who have learning difficulties and low ideological awareness in adjacent seats, so that students can help each other and improve together.
Facts have proved that this kind of "helping pair" formed in the whole class has effectively mobilized students' enthusiasm and initiative in learning, especially students who have difficulty in learning and low ideological awareness. Learned how to study, how to improve learning methods, how to get rid of bad habits, and significantly improved academic performance. For example: There is no such thing as failure to complete homework in our class; some students who like to do small tricks in class can now work hard to restrain themselves and listen attentively; students who did not like to speak before can now speak enthusiastically; self-study is more efficient than before Order has been restored, and there is no more chasing and fighting; the math scores of Xu Wenxu and He Die in my class used to be more than 50 points, but now they can reach more than 70 points. The whole class has taken a big step forward in learning.
