Basic situation: My husband and I are college classmates. I am currently studying at Peking University and am expected to graduate next year; my husband got a study abroad offer in the second half of last year. He has been working since graduation 20 years ago, and I have no work experience. The visa will be issued 12 days after submitting the application. List of materials: Passport Forms:IMM0104e/IMM1295e/IMM5257b_1/IMM5707e Digital photo Proof of Relationship Client Information Proof of upfront Medical Exam The most important thing here is client information and proof of relationship. I spent a lot of energy to prepare. Today I will mainly share the preparation process of client information. Client information is mainly a supplement to other visa materials, so the degree of freedom is relatively large. I divided it into five parts, namely letter of explanation, spouse-related information, personal information, notarized materials and financial certificates. What materials to put should be prepared according to your own situation. You should understand why you are applying and what your materials are to prove. The materials you prepare should be logical, purposeful and meaningful, and each item should serve your purpose. The functions of the five parts of the materials I put in are: 1. My husband and I will each write a letter of explanation, one of about 2-3 pages, explaining clearly why we need to apply for an open work permit. The applicant’s letter of explanation is used to explain the purpose of the application and guide the visa officer to read the subsequent materials. The spouse’s letter of explanation is used to express the intention of inviting the applicant to enter the country for reunion. I personally think that writing a letter of explanation is quite particular. If anyone is interested, you can talk about it separately. 2. Spouse-related information is used to prove that the spouse is studying or about to enter school, has entered the country or is eligible to enter the country. This part of my husband's study permit, assistant researcher offer and scholarship, the school's admission notice and CL letter show the authenticity of his entry to study. 3. Your personal information is used to describe the applicant’s background and prove your (future) work ability. Note that visa officers generally prefer young/highly educated/good English applicants, because the work permit is actually a prelude to immigration, so the visa officer will consider whether this person has the ability to find a job in Canada. The materials I put in the personal information column include undergraduate diploma and degree certificate (and translation), proof of enrollment, IELTS transcript (7 points) and CET-6 transcript. In fact, I originally wanted to include Tencent’s internship certificate, book publishing certificate, etc., but in the end the material could not be compressed within 4M, so this part was deleted. 4. The notarized materials section includes scanned, notarized, and translated copies of the household registration and non-criminal record certificates, mainly to show the authenticity of the personal information provided. Note that I have put the notarization of the marriage certificate in the proof of relationship, so there is no need to submit it again here. 5. Finally, there is the financial certification material. This part explains what funds you can use and the legal sources of these funds. Some people may add some materials to their financial certificate, such as their parents' real estate, parents' financial support, etc. In this case, they also need to add such materials as birth certificates and notarizations, parents' pay stubs/tax materials, etc. to prove that the property holder also That is, your parents are indeed your parents, and their income is legal income. Because I was lazy, I didn’t include anything about the financial status of both parents, only my own and my husband’s financial status. Some intermediaries emphasize that the more funds, the better. In fact, this is not the case. With a work permit, you should work to make money, so I think the financial support part is less difficult for people. It is more important to spend energy preparing materials to prove work ability than to prove deposits. In this part, I put the certificate of frozen deposits in my own name (about 50,000), fund holding certificate (about 100,000), and originally wanted to put the certificate of stock holdings, etc., but later I found that it was very troublesome to issue certificates, so I gave up. In order to explain the source of my deposits, I have included bank statements and transfer records between my husband and me. In order to explain the husband's source of funds, he also included his salary stub, employment offer, RSU (restricted stock) grant certificate, GIC deposit certificate, domestic bank deposit certificate, scholarship, etc.
