Throughout the long history, we almost see the active figures of men, whether they live in temples or far away, it seems that they are the masters of the world, and Women always seem to be just a supporting role. Although there are many heroines such as Mu Guiying, Hua Mulan, Yang family generals, etc., in general, women are still in a neglected position. In fact, from ancient times to the present, women have often played a very important role in life, and even in some fields, they are irreplaceable. However, due to the closed mind, women's independent development is always bumpy.
With the improvement of social productivity and the continuous improvement of economic and political systems, we are increasingly aware of the value of women. Women themselves are constantly breaking through the shackles of stereotypes and shining in their fields of expertise. Today we are going to introduce a legendary heroine-Liang Jun. my country's first female tractor driver only found out in her later years that the person printed on the RMB was her.
When hearing the name Liang Jun, I believe many people are unfamiliar with it, but her life was quite exciting. Liang Jun was born at the junction of the old and new eras. His father passed away, his mother remarried, and he was given to others as a child bride. How ironic the term child bride is to us modern people, but for Liang Jun at that time, having a bite to eat was her greatest luxury. Fortunately, Liang Jun has been stubborn and able to endure hardships since she was a child, and her foster parents also favored her very much.
The victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945 brought joy to the whole country. What made Liang Jun happiest was that she got the opportunity to study. This was a major turning point in her life, and she implicitly chose the direction for her future life. At that time, she watched the first movie in her life, "Heroine". There was a tractor heroine in the movie, and she silently remembered this image in her heart.
In 1948, my country imported a batch of tractors, hoping to expand the scale of reclamation and improve my country's agricultural output through mechanical planting. Liang Jun understands that this is her chance to realize her dream and she must not give up. So she actively participated in the tractor training class. Even though she was the only female in the class, she was not timid. Instead, she used her excellent results to prove to everyone that "who said women are inferior to men."
Looking at this batch of imported equipment, everyone was troubled and did not dare to give it a try. But Liang Jun is not afraid. In her opinion, the more difficult it is, the more it can stimulate people's potential. She participated in practice day and night, coupled with her quick thinking and willingness to endure hardships, she soon became the first female tractor driver in our country. In that era, it was so remarkable that a woman could skillfully control machinery. Her teachers were shocked and proud of her.
Liang Jun’s performance was commended by her superiors, but she did not stop at her dream. Instead, she closely linked her skills with production practice. At that time, our country was undergoing land reclamation work in the Great Northern Wilderness. Liang Jun enthusiastically signed up and took the initiative to go to the northeastern region of my country to develop with his colleagues. She never complained at work, and her story was published in the People's Daily. More and more women are seeing Liang Jun, and they regard Liang Jun as a role model in their lives.
In 1959, my country independently developed the first batch of tractors, Dongfanghong-54. Liang Juncheng had the opportunity to be the first person to inspect and try out this machinery, which was one step closer to her dream. , endless joy lingers in my heart. She drove the tractor around and around the venue, and the staff filmed the scene. my country's first female tractor driver did not know until her later years that the person printed on the RMB was her.
Later, the designers of my country’s third edition of the one-yuan RMB thought this photo was very meaningful, and Liang Jun was printed on the third edition of the RMB. However, the protagonist Liang Jun did not know this. It wasn't until CCTV recorded the story behind the third version of the RMB in 2003 that the protagonist was found. It was at this time that Liang Jun knew that he was actually the female tractor driver on the RMB.
On January 14, 2020, Ms. Liang Jun left us forever, but her deeds will always inspire women to develop independently. I believe that more and more women will find their own value and shine in their positions.
