1. Check your own version of Foxmail. Secure e-mail is applicable to version 5.0 and above. If it is a low edition, please download the advanced edition.

2. There are some setting options in Tools-System Settings-Security or Advanced in the Foxmail main window (not the window for writing emails). General default settings will do.

3. Add the sender's certificate to my address book and select.

★ Add your own certificate in Foxmail.

1. Perform "Backup and Import of Security Certificates" in "Use of Security Certificates".

2. Open Foxmail, select Account-Properties-Security in the menu, click Select, and select the content in the pop-up box; Click OK after selection;

3. You will find that there is already certificate information in the "Security" dialog box, and you can send the signed email;

1. Select Tools-> Address Book or directly CTRL+K;

2. select tools -> LDAP account;

3. Select "New" to open the following window. Account name is display name, and server name can be filled in: directory.itrus.com.cn; Click OK;

4. Done-you can see that the account name already exists in the list, so you can send an encrypted email to a friend with a directory.itrus.com.cn certificate;

1. Select Tools-Address Book or directly Ctrl+K to pop up the dialog box.

2. Click "New Business Card" to enter contact information or select an existing friend address and view properties:

3. Select the "Digital Certificate" page, and select the address to join the certificate in the "Select E-mail Address" column.

If the dialog box shown in the above figure is obtained through the second step of "Select an existing friend address and view properties", and the setting is successful with reference to "LDAP server settings", you can click "LDAP search", select the corresponding LDAP server, search and find the corresponding certificate, and then enter the sixth step;

5. Or you can click "Import from File" to find the file corresponding to this mailbox in the unzipped file of "Contact Certificate Backup" and import it;

6. Select the corresponding settings and press "OK" to import successfully. The selected digital certificates will be listed accordingly, and the corresponding settings can be selected as required:

7. An icon will appear on the e-mail information of the imported certificate, indicating that you can send encrypted e-mail to this address.

★ Send a secure email.

1. Click "Write" to open the letter template;

2. Click the "Signature" or "Encryption" tab on the toolbar or two options in the menu "Tools" to indicate that the letter to be sent is a signed email or an encrypted email, or you can select all of them, indicating that the signed email has been sent and encrypted;

3. Enter the contact address or select a contact from the address book, edit the contents of the letter and click "Send";

4. If this machine doesn't have the security certificate corresponding to the contact address, a window will pop up with three options: "Send after deleting the above recipient", "Send unencrypted mail to the above recipient" and "Find the above recipient's certificate";

5. If you select the third option, the Find Certificate window will pop up. Select the options set in LDAP Server Settings, and then click Lookup. If it can be found, select it, click "Add to Address Book", and then click "OK" to send it successfully.

6. If you log on to the WEB again after setting foxmail and use secure mail, you will be asked to enter the roaming password when using Foxmail; It can also be sent correctly after correct input; If you re-operate "Add your own certificate to Foxmail", you will generally not enter the roaming password.
