First, please turn the down switch on or off:
1. Confirm that the phone is not silent, please drop down the status bar to check.
2. Confirmation of business license notice
Enter settings, search application management, find information, click notification/notification management, and turn on the notification permission switch. If it is open, please close and reopen it and try again.
3. Confirm that "Do Not Disturb" mode is turned off.
Enter the settings, search for do not disturb mode, and then click Enter. If yes, please turn off do not disturb mode.
4. Confirm to turn off the mute notification switch. (this operation only applies to emui10.x/11.x&; Magic ui version 3.x/4.0)
Enter settings, search application management, find information, click notification management, select the corresponding card 1/ card 2 in the category, and turn off the mute notification switch.
2. If the above methods can't solve your problem, please troubleshoot according to the following scenarios:
1. There is no vibration or ringing when receiving information.
(1) Please confirm whether the notification bell of the message is set to none or whether the vibration switch is turned off (only applicable to EMUI 9.x&; Magic UI 2. x).
Enter the settings, search into the application management, find the information, click the notification management, and check whether the notification ringtone is selected as None or the vibration switch is turned off. If yes, please set the notification bell and turn on the vibration switch.
(2) Please confirm whether an incompatible third-party theme is used.
It is recommended that you change the official default theme. Go to themes > my > preset a theme, select one and apply it.
2. When the message is received, the indicator light does not flash.
If the indicator light does not blink when receiving the message, you can find it by the following methods:
(1) Check whether the mobile phone supports the indicator light.
In order to pursue the ultimate experience of display effect, some mobile phones provide users with a larger visual area, and cancel the indicator light (for example, nova 7 SE 5G, plug in the charger, and the three-color light at the top of the screen does not light up, indicating that the indicator light is not supported).
(2) Check whether it is in the case of a call or a bright screen.
When the phone is on the phone or the screen is turned on, the incoming call information indicator does not flash by default.
(3) Check whether the flashing switch of indicator light is not turned on when receiving the notice.
If the information indicator doesn't flash under all circumstances, it may be that you didn't turn on the flashing indicator when you received the notification. Please enter the settings, and the notification indicator will flash when you enter the search. Turn on this switch.
Warm reminder: Some models can't find that the indicator light flashes when receiving the notification, so this model doesn't support this function. Please use other steps to check.
(4) Don't blink when judging whether to use some applications to send messages.
If you only have some applications (such as WeChat or QQ International Edition) that don't flash, it may be the application itself. I suggest you feed back the problem to the third-party application, pay attention to the application version update, and upgrade the latest version in time.
If the above methods fail to solve your problem, please back up your information in advance (WeChat /QQ and other applications need to be backed up separately) and bring the purchase voucher to Huawei Customer Service Center for testing and processing.
3. When the screen is closed, there is no bright screen reminder when receiving new messages.
(1) Please confirm whether the lock screen style of mobile phone is set to magazine lock screen.
Below EMUI 9.0: enter settings, search for magazine lock screen, and set the lock screen style as magazine lock screen.
Emui11.x/10. x/9. x/magicui2. x/3. x/4.0: enter the settings, search and enter the magazine lock screen, and turn on the "open magazine lock screen" switch.
(2) Please confirm whether to turn on the notification bright screen prompt switch.
Enter the settings, search to enter the notification bright screen prompt, and turn on the notification bright screen prompt switch.
4. There is no banner notice after receiving the message.
Please make sure that the information banner switch is turned off.
Enter settings, search and enter application management, find information, click notification management/notification, select the corresponding card 1/ card 2 in the category, and turn on the banner switch.
5. Lock the screen not to display the notification content.
(1) Check whether the mobile phone has a magazine lock screen.
The screen lock interface of mobile phone needs to realize the notification bright screen function, and display all notifications in the style of magazine screen lock. If the phone doesn't support magazine screen locking, it doesn't support this function.
Prompt: EMUI 9. 1 and above &; Magic UI 2. 1 and above systems can display message content even without locking the screen.
If the mobile phone supports magazine lock screen, please set the lock screen style to magazine lock screen, as shown below:
A. Open the settings, search the magazine lock screen and click to enter the magazine lock screen, and set it as the magazine lock screen;
B. if you can't find this switch in the settings, it is recommended to open the theme application: theme > my > mashup > lock screen style > magazine lock screen > application.
(2) Check whether the mobile phone is set to light up the message screen/display the notification content.
A. Set the incoming call information lighting screen: enter the settings, search and turn on the notification lighting prompt, turn on the notification lighting prompt switch, and automatically light up the screen after receiving the notification in the information screen state.
B. Display the notification content on the screen lock interface:
EMUI 10。 X & ampEMUI 1 1。 X & magic UI 3. X has the following two paths, just find one:
Path 1: set > notification > hide the notification content and turn off the switch;
Path 2: Settings > Notifications > Screen Lock Notifications, and select Show All Notifications.
EMUI 9。 X & Magic UI 2. X: Settings > Notification Center > Lock screen notification, and select Show all notifications.
EMUI 8。 X: Go to Settings > Applications and Notifications > Notification Management: Click three points in the upper right corner, click Lock Screen Notification, and select to display all notifications;
EMUI 5。 X: settings > notification and status bar > notification management: click the gear button in the upper right corner, and when clicking the device lock, select to display all notification contents.
C. Open the license notice and display it on the lock screen:
Enter Settings, search and enter Application Management, find the application to be set, click Notification/Notification Management, turn on the notification permission switch, and set the screen lock notification display.
(3) Check whether the mobile phone is unlocked by face.
In order to protect the privacy of the owner, in the face unlock mode, the message content will be hidden and no details will be displayed when the screen is locked. If you want to continue viewing the details of the screen lock message, you can set it as follows:
A. If you want to unlock with human face and don't want the message to be hidden under the lock screen, you can set it in the following ways:
Turn on setting search and face recognition, enter the screen lock password, and turn off the smart display screen lock notification switch. (not applicable to emui10.110.1& magicui3.1/3.1.You can enter the settings >; Notifications > hide the notification content and turn off this switch to show the message content)
Open Settings Search to open Intelligent Unlock, and close Intelligent Unlock function.
Tip: After the smart unlock function is turned off, you will not be able to use the smart unlock function of wearable devices.
B. It is recommended to use (fingerprint or screen lock password) to unlock the screen and view the message:
You can search in the settings: fingerprint or screen lock password for fingerprint recording or password input.
(4) Check whether only some three-party applications do not display message details.
It may be that the three-party application itself has set the hidden message content. You can turn on the display message content switch in the settings of the three-party application.
Open QQ: click avatar > settings > message notification > message notification settings >; Notifications display a preview of the message.
Open wechat: go to me > settings > new message notification, and open the notification to display the message details.
(5) Check whether the application has set the application lock.
Maybe the application has set the application lock (only emui9.0.1&; Magic UI 2.0. 1 and above), you can enter the settings, search to enter the application lock, see if the application lock of the application is turned on, and turn off the application lock switch of the application.
If the problem cannot be solved by the above methods, please back up the materials in advance (WeChat /QQ and other applications need to be backed up separately) and bring the purchase voucher to Huawei Customer Service Center for testing.
Third, clear the data.
It may be that the information data is abnormal. I suggest you try to clear the data. The operation method is as follows:
Enter settings, search application management, find information, and click Save >; Delete the data, then restart the phone and try again.
Try to restore all settings: enter settings, search for input to restore all settings, and then click the Restore all settings option.
Warm reminder: the path of EMUI 5.0 is Settings > Advanced Settings > Backup Reset. When the reset settings are used, the switch of the application avatar will be turned off, resulting in the loss of the application avatar data. Please back up the application data before this operation.
After all the settings are restored, when you set the face or fingerprint to unlock, you need to enter the application lock password to verify the binding. If you forget the application lock password, please try to retrieve it.
