1. Hayao Miyazaki
In 1963, Hayao Miyazaki graduated from college and worked at Toei Animation. The first work he participated in was Toei's theatrical animation "Wanwan Tadashizo" in December of the same year. Immediately afterwards, Hayao Miyazaki participated in the first TV animation produced by Toei-"Wolf Boy Ken".
In 1971, Hayao Miyazaki left Toei Animation and joined "A-Pro" with Isao Taka (Hota), Yoichi Otabe and others. In 1973, the animation "Panda", a collaboration between him and Isao Takada, was released.
In 1978, the first work fully supervised by Miyazaki Hayao - "Future Boy Konan" was broadcast on NHK , which was well received. Hayao Miyazaki's ideas and style are greatly displayed in this film. In 1979, he joined Tokyo Movie News, and in 1980 he directed "Lupine the Third: Caliostro Castle" (theatrical version), once again showing the adventure movie style of "Future Boy". In 1982, the long-form comic "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" began to be serialized in Tokuma Shoten's Animage magazine. The comic was serialized until 1994. In November 1982, he quit Tokyo Movie News and became a freelance writer.
The theatrical animation "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" was released in March 1984. Its rich imagination and profound content shocked the audience and the entire film industry. In April, Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata jointly founded the "Two Horsepower" club.
In 1985, Studio Ghibli (Ghibli) was founded. (The name Ghibli actually means "the hot wind blowing on the Sahara Desert." During World War II, Italian Air Force pilots Their reconnaissance plane was also named "Ghibli". Hayao Miyazaki was an aircraft fanatic and of course knew this, so he decided to use "Ghibli" as the name of their studio. There is also another implication, that is, I hope this studio can set off a whirlwind in the Japanese animation industry!), so I started to produce "Castle in the Sky". Since "Castle in the Sky", Hayao Miyazaki has been working at Studio Ghibli. Up to now, he has successively produced "My Neighbor Totoro", "Kiki's Delivery Service", "Porco Rosso" and "The Valley of the Heart". , "On Your Mark," and animated films such as "Princess Mononoke."
Masterpieces
1. "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" --- This film caused a great sensation when it was released in 1984. Hayao Miyazaki's outstanding reputation was also established during this period. The film version of "Wind" is adapted from the manga of the same name by Hayao Miyazaki. Due to busy work, the serialization of the manga in Tokuma Shoten's monthly manga was not completed until 1994, which lasted 12 years.
2. "Castle in the Sky" --- a movie adapted from the novel "Gulliver's Travels" written by Jonathan Swift. Some people think that its storyline is more traditional, but this does not mean that it has no new ideas. On the contrary, The drama "Sky" is full of many new elements. The movie almost perfectly depicts the landscape of the world where the story takes place, which is a bit sci-fi, a bit mythical, and a bit like the European Industrial Revolution, such as old trains on elevated rails, dark mines, and flying in the sky. Boats, clay sculpture-like robots, etc...
The intense plot runs throughout the entire movie, but the blue sky and thick white clouds make the sharp conflicts more intriguing; the characters have many expressions At times, it relies not on lines but on the specific actions of the characters to make the characters' personalities more profound. This may be why it can attract children and even adults to sit down and watch a cartoon for two hours. We have to admit that Hayao Miyazaki has this ability.
3. "Heisei Tanuki Battle" --- In the minds of Japanese people, tanukis are a mysterious animal. They can use an illusion similar to blindfolding, and their bodies can change into any shape, or Turn leaves into money or something to deceive humans. In this film, a community construction project started in the Tama NEW TOWN underground in Tokyo, and the civet cats were driven out of their residence.
They wanted to revive the chemistry handed down from ancient times, and used this illusion to frighten mankind and put the project on hold, thus posing a challenge to mankind. They recruited elder raccoons from all around and decided to implement the "monsters don't fight" plan.
In the plot, the civet cats moved out at extremely fast speeds, but before they moved out, they turned into a posture of walking upright on two legs. People watching will definitely find this very interesting. . In fact, the atmosphere of this game is mainly humorous. Although there is an image of a raccoon cat being run over by a car, it immediately returns to the main tone.
4. "Spirited Away: The Hidden God" ---In this "Miyazaki version of Alice's Adventures in Adventures", modern Japan appears as the stage for Miyazaki animation for the first time. The various elves that Chihiro meets in the fantasy world all have allegorical references to today's Japan - the witch Yubaba is a hot spring operator who is obsessed with money. She indulges her children without any control and is a derelict mother. He squanders money without respecting the existence of others, and his character is like a child's lack of thinking and rationality. Xiaobai, a young man with a complicated personality, has dual personalities of intelligence and ruthlessness.
5. "Kiki's Delivery Service" ---The original work is by the Japanese female writer Eiko Kadono, who has won the International Andersen Award. Through the animation skills of Hayao Miyazaki, the audience is once again brought into a wonderful world .
6. "Porco Rosso" --- set in Italy in the 1920s, with the same European-style background and music. In order to more truly express the local customs of Europe, the production committee I once went to the Adria coast for field research. The mid-term scene takes place at dusk over the Adria Sea, with Borgo’s red planes dotted in the distance. The scene is very attractive! This is an autobiographical film by Hayao Miyazaki. Hayao Miyazaki refers to himself as the protagonist Borgo in the play, and constructs his own contradiction of being in the secular world and unable to control himself into the legendary story of Borgo. In fact, how many people are not helpless in the secular world?
7. "Princess Mononoke" --- Hayao Miyazaki regards "man" and "nature" as two extremes that can never compromise with each other. He believes that man must destroy nature in order to survive, and In the film, Ashitaka once dealt with humans and gods in order to coordinate the peaceful settlement between the two parties, but in the end it also ended in a tragic outcome, with both humans and gods losing. Ashitaka also said: "I have tried my best to prevent it (referring to the war between humans and gods), but in the end I failed." But regardless of whether the problem of coexistence between man and nature can be solved, as a human being, the first thing is should survive.

The Imperial Queen Nakia has the magical power to control water, and she wants to kill Yuri in order to obtain a sacrifice. Xili gets the help of Prince Karl and hides under the prince's wings as a concubine. The unwilling queen makes trouble for Karl everywhere, and Karl vows to fight the queen to the end in order to protect his beloved Xili...
"The Sky Is Red River Bank" is based on the historical background of the Hitato Empire, an ancient country on the plains of ancient Mesopotamia. The Hitato Empire was a country that emerged in today's Turkey in the tenth century BC. Its capital was Hadosia. It worships the Sumerian pantheon and is a neighboring country with Egypt. Their cultures are intertwined with each other and they are constantly fighting. This country full of magic and legends has the same splendid civilization as Egypt, but there are few records in history. There are very few, which gives Chie Shinohara quite a lot of room to play. But the architecture and character costumes in her comics are also very close to the historical customs of the Hitato Empire.

5. Hojo Tsukasa
Birthday: March 5, 1959
Birthplace: Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan
Hojo Tsukasa The painting style is very realistic and modern, with a perfect blend of dynamics and texture. One of the characteristics of Hojo Tsukasa's comics is wit and humor, which is most vividly displayed in "City Hunter". In addition to being crazy and funny, another major advantage of Hojo Tsukasa's comics is the delicate and touching emotional scenes, which make people endless aftertaste. This is the main reason why his comics can attract readers for a long time.
After "City Hunter", Hojo published some works with more serious themes. The author seems to want to develop his comics to a high level and not just have entertainment effects. This change in style is best reflected in the three works "Sunshine Girl", "That Summer" and "Girls' Season". The most touching and shocking thing is "That Summer". This comic is composed of several independent short stories, but each short story revolves around the theme of "war destroys young people's dreams", combining the young man's desire to realize his dream, his helplessness when being involved in the war, and the destruction of his dream. The pain of the time is vividly depicted, making people deeply feel the evil of war.
The so-called theory of love regardless of gender seems to have become a creative trend among shoujo cartoonists at the end of the century. Hojo Tsukasa, who specializes in drawing shounen comics, actually joined in the fun and released his "Unusual Family", which depicts a pair of inverted genders. Wrong couple family life. Although this work is not as legendary as the other two novels "Cat Eyes" and "City Hunter", it still has a strong Hojo style in the coexistence of warmth and nonsense. "Very Family" is not as romantic and unrealistic as the girl comics of the same theme. The author maintains a realistic style of emotional portrayal, which is truly touching. Although some people are disapproving of this comic that shows homosexual tendencies and gender inversion, this does not affect its popularity. "Extraordinary Family" has been a regular in the top 10 shonen comics since its serialization.
The charm of Hojo Division at the end of the century remains undiminished. Because there are many cartoonists who become famous instantly with one work, but not many cartoonists can continue to maintain a high level of creative momentum for more than ten years. His achievements over the past 18 years have firmly placed him among the unforgettable masters of comics.

"Mint Relationship" is a "campus comedy for junior high school students." Yoshizumi Wataru, who enjoys drawing hilarious cartoons, did not touch on anything that makes people feel heavy in this work. In short, Readers will laugh with the Minano family's precious twins until the end. Some settings in "Peppermint Relationship" are also funny: Novi and Maria's father and Zhu Yin's father in "Only Love You" are twins! The reason why it is set like this, Yoshizumi Wataru said, firstly, it is interesting to have twins, and secondly, there is no need to think about the face of the new middle-aged character, killing two birds with one stone. In this regard, should I say she is smart or lazy? Teacher Wataru Yoshizumi said: "This time I wanted to describe a happy and innocent story in a relaxed way, so I kept reminding myself not to take the description too seriously."

The inspiration for this work was It comes from a piece of information called "Meteor Group in the Leo Constellation." Masami Kurumada saw the meteors falling from the sky, which inspired the concept of Saint Seiya. Originally, the protagonist Seiya wanted to use Leo, but after several changes, he finally decided to use Pegasus. Because it is more appropriate to take the meaning of "Tianma Xingkong". As for the original meaning of "Leon Constellation Meteor Group", it still remains on Seiya's special skill. Seiya's name comes from the sacred arrow, namely Seiya.
Kurumada Masami. From 88 constellations, 10 are selected as bronze saints, and the characters are designed according to the characteristics of each constellation. The purple dragon's holy clothes have the strongest fist and the strongest shield. This is from the Chinese "spear and shield". I was inspired by the story of "Shield". Among the many famous cartoonists in Japan, Reiko Shimizu is probably the most mysterious of one.
She almost never attends any public social occasions. The only people she comes into contact with are magazine editors. She never signs autographs for people, never takes photos in public or publishes photos in magazines. She almost never accepts Any form of interview... It can be said that all her personal information is almost zero. From here you can imagine how difficult it is to make a color album of Reiko Shimizu.
Fortunately, the Shimizu Reiko we want to introduce is a cartoonist, not an idol, so what we want to introduce more is not her private life but her works, and what we want to show is not photos but beautiful paintings.
LALA was founded in 1979, and made its debut in 1983 with "The Story of Forked Road" in the February issue of "LaLa". Works such as "Jack & Alley Series" and "Moonlight Love" are very popular as original science fiction novels. Furthermore, there are many enthusiasts for color illustrations with transparent textures. Currently, "Kaguya Princess" serialized in "LaLa" is also very well received.
Reiko Shimizu has always been a very controversial cartoonist. Since the debut of her short story "The Story of Three Forked Roads", her short stories have received unanimous praise from readers of all kinds for their meticulous production and clever story arrangements. While her full-length works, "Moonlight Love", "Alien Dragon" and "Kaguya Princess" were well received, they were also criticized by many readers. Especially "Kaguya Princess", many readers criticized its story clues for being too complicated, and its setting arrangement for the future world is quite unreasonable. Therefore, in Kodansha’s annual Shoujo Manga Awards, Reiko Shimizu’s long-form works often receive the honor of being nominated for the grand prize, but they always miss out on the grand prize in the end and leave with regrets. In contrast, Reiko Shimizu's short comics have won many awards. Short stories such as "22XX" and "The Evolution of Angels" are still highly praised by many readers
