Cover with fingerprints
As a matter of fact, there is no need to print your fingerprints on the contract. Because the current labor laws and regulations do not explicitly stipulate that employees need to press their fingerprints when signing labor contracts with enterprises. In other words, employees can sign the labor contract without pressing their fingerprints.
But why do companies still do this? I think, the enterprise probably still follows the old habits before. Because everyone's fingerprints are absolutely different, signatures may also be imitated. Handprinting is the most powerful exclusive proof, which was very popular before the implementation of the Labor Contract Law. Enterprises always require employees to press their handprints when signing contracts, which is more legal.
This requirement of enterprises will also give people a more standardized management image. Some employees think that when signing a contract, they must sign and seal it, and if they can't seal it, they can use their own handprints instead, so that the contract documents are valid and legal. As we all know, from the legal terms, the labor contract only needs to be signed.
Therefore, if there is a matter of signing a labor contract in the future, employees need to understand that just signing and signing before pressing the fingerprint have the same legal effect. If the enterprise requires fingerprints, it doesn't matter if they are pressed. If the enterprise does not require it, don't think such a contract is illegal.
