How to insert a handwritten signature into a WORD document

Method/Steps

Use a scanner, camera or mobile phone to scan or photograph the handwritten signature, and use PS or other image editing software to appropriately crop the image.

In the Word document where you want to insert a handwritten signature, select "Insert - Picture - From File" and select the cropped handwritten signature.

Double-click the handwritten signature image (or right-click the image and select "Format Image") to pop up the "Format Image" panel. Select "Image Control" in the "Picture" column and set "Color" to "Black and White" (or set "Contrast" to maximum, that is, 100%).

In the "Format Image" panel, select the "Layout" column, select "Inline below text" in the "Wrap mode", and click OK.

(In this way, the handwritten signature will not block the original layout effect of the text in the document, but also can make the signature and text overlap, making the signature more authentic.

Finally, adjust the size and position of the signature appropriately, and you’re good to go!
