The consequence of taking a make-up exam in college is that you have to retake it in the next academic year (re-study the corresponding course, take the exam again at the end of the semester, and only after passing the exam can you get the corresponding credit). Because of the credit system adopted in China, only those who pass the corresponding courses will receive the corresponding credits. If they fail (fail the course), they will have to make up the exam, and if they fail the make-up exam, they will have to retake it.

Generally speaking, university regulations state that if you don’t have enough credits or fail too many courses, you will not be able to get a degree certificate, so failing courses should be avoided as much as possible.

After failing a course, you will have an opportunity to make up the exam. If you fail the make-up exam, you can choose to retake it. Basic requirements for retaking courses

1. Course selection time: Generally within 10 days of the start of school.

2. The courses students apply to retake must be courses offered this semester (including group retakes), and the course credits and teaching requirements must be consistent with the requirements of the talent training plan for this major.

3. The sum of the total credits of the courses a student applies to retake and the total credits of the courses being taken this semester shall not exceed 34.

1. Retake failed courses

(1) Students enter the "Failed Retake Application" in the personal information system and select the need to retake failed courses For the course, select the learning method (retake with a class or retake with a group) and click "Register" to submit.

(2) Students whose student status has changed and need to take courses of the original grade, students who have changed majors and need to take supplementary courses for a new major, and students who went to Taiwan for exchange in the 2009-2010 academic year and need to take supplementary courses, fill in the "Course Selection Application Form". The form must be signed by myself and the counselor and submitted to the Student Status Management Department for review.
