According to Article 3 1 of the Marriage Law and the third paragraph of Article 1 1 of the Marriage Registration Ordinance, a divorce agreement refers to an agreement or opinion reached by both parties through consultation on matters such as child support, property and debt handling. Paragraph 3 of Article 1 1 of the Regulations on Marriage Registration stipulates that the divorce agreement shall specify the expression of the will of both parties to divorce voluntarily and the consensus on matters such as child support, property and debt handling.
