The Silver Soul tells the story of an alien called "Heaven and Man" at the end of the Edo period. The war between heaven and earth broke out instantly, and a large number of samurai and anti-foreigners took part in the battle with heaven and man.
After seeing the great strength of heaven and man, the shogunate signed an unequal treaty with heaven and man without authorization, allowing heaven and man to enter the country. Later, a "Knife Scrapping Order" was issued, and all the samurai's knives were taken away. Since then, heaven and man have been rampant, and the shogunate has become a "puppet regime." In this era, a samurai and his companions lived a whimsical life happily.

Silver has naturally curly white hair (the anime version is silver hair), red pupil (the cartoon was serialized as blue pupil at first, and later changed to red pupil), and eyes like dead fish. Clothes are usually black clothes and kimonos with blue flowers and white background (* * * has four pieces, which are worn alternately every day), and a wooden knife with the words Toyako has been pinned to the waist (only once, it was stolen by Shenle, and the knife was actually bought by TV shopping).
