The transaction password is used for inquiry or cash withdrawal at self-service equipment such as ATMs, or for verification when merchants swipe their cards for consumption. There is no need to enter a password for small-amount purchases, which is convenient and fast.

Warm reminder for overseas credit cards: Some overseas merchants do not require password verification, but some merchants require mandatory password verification.
