Every student who wants to study in the Netherlands needs to apply for a Dutch visa. Only by successfully obtaining a Dutch visa can he go to the Netherlands smoothly. However, some students don't know much about applying for a Dutch visa. Let me introduce them to you.
Q 1。 Do I need a Dutch visa to go to Schengen?
No matter how long China citizens stay in the Schengen area and what kind of travel documents they hold, they must show their Schengen visas when entering the Schengen area, unless they hold a valid residence permit in the Schengen country.
Q2。 How to get a Dutch visa application form for studying in the Netherlands?
You can download the short-term or long-term Schengen visa application form by clicking on the website of the Netherlands Visa Acceptance Center.
Q3。 Can others submit the Dutch visa processing application form?
Your application materials can be submitted through an agent. The agent shall provide the power of attorney signed by the applicant, the original and copy of the agent's ID card.
Q4。 Matters needing attention when authorizing others to submit visa application materials.
Before you authorize others to submit your Schengen visa application to the Dutch visa acceptance center, please pay attention to the following points:
The client must provide a power of attorney for the application materials, which must be signed by the applicant himself and must be original. Copies or faxes are not accepted. The power of attorney is not allowed to be changed. The signature of the applicant on the power of attorney should be consistent with the applicant's autograph on the passport. The power of attorney must be issued separately and cannot be used.
The applicant's passport must be signed by the applicant himself. In this regard, if the applicant is a minor, please also pay attention to the relevant provisions of passport signature.
When the power of attorney meets the requirements, only the client is authorized to sign the following documents for visa submission: visa application checklist and related materials. (The Schengen visa application form must have the applicant's own signature)
Please make sure that the applicant's photo meets the requirements of the embassy before the client goes to the appointment. When the applicant entrusts others to submit the application, if the photo of the applicant does not meet the requirements of the embassy, it is not allowed to supplement it.
Please note that you are not allowed to add any other materials after submitting your visa application. We strongly recommend that customers confirm with the applicant before submitting the application. If the materials are incomplete, the applicant will choose to insist on submitting or abandon the application. When the center submits an application, the customer shall not contact the applicant. Phone calls are forbidden in the visa center.
The client shall be responsible for the application decision made by him for the applicant.
Q5。 What's the difference between a Schengen visa and a Dutch visa?
Schengen visa is a short-term visa issued by Schengen member countries, and it is allowed to stay in Schengen countries for no more than 90 days (arbitrary 180 days). The institution that accepts and issues such visas is the consulate of the destination country in Schengen District. In traveling to many countries, the main destination is determined by the purpose of the trip and the length of stay. When determining the main destination country, staying in any Schengen country for business reasons takes precedence over staying in other countries for tourism, visiting relatives or private visits.
Dutch visa (D visa) allows the holder to stay in the Netherlands or stay for more than 90 days. The Dutch visa also allows the holder to transit through other Schengen countries. Some Dutch visa holders, such as spouses of Dutch citizens, workers, students and tourists, will also be allowed to travel freely in Schengen.
Q6。 Can minors go to the center to submit their applications alone?
Please note that if minors come to the center to submit their applications in person, they must be accompanied by legal guardians and cannot come alone. If the minor is accompanied by an agent, the agent must provide a power of attorney signed by the minor's parents or legal guardians.
Q7。 Who has the right to help minors sign visa application materials?
Please follow the following principles for minor passport requirements:
/kloc-The passport signature page of minors under 0/0 does not need to be signed, but it can also be signed (but the passport holder must sign it himself). Ten years old (including ten years old) to eighteen years old (excluding eighteen years old) must be signed by the applicant himself. (/kloc-applicants aged 0/8 and above must sign their names on the signature page of their passports. )
Passport signature page is not allowed to be signed by parents or guardians under any circumstances. If the passport is signed by someone else, it will be considered invalid and it is impossible to apply for a Schengen visa in the Netherlands (applicants need to apply for a new passport before applying for a visa). )
The Schengen visa application form needs to be signed by both parents (or their legal guardians) of the minor. Minors cannot submit their own visa applications. Must be accompanied by at least one parent or legal guardian, or signed by one parent or legal guardian to entrust others to submit it.
If minors entrust others to submit visa applications, the power of attorney must be signed by one of their parents or legal guardians.
If one parent dies, a notarized death certificate certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China or the embassy of China abroad is required.
If one parent enjoys sole custody, a notarized certificate of court custody judgment certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China or the embassy of China abroad is required.
Q8。 Can I submit a visa application through a travel agency?
Some travel agencies have relevant qualifications and can organize tour groups with the Netherlands as their main destination. The visas obtained by members of such tour groups will be marked with the words ADS (approved destination country).
