Legal basis: Article 59 of the Marriage Registration Law stipulates that divorce certificates shall be issued in the presence of both parties according to the following steps:
(1) Require both parties to check their names, dates of birth and divorce intentions;
(2) Witness the parties personally signing their fingerprints in the column "The parties get the certificate and sign by fingerprints" in the Divorce Registration Review Processing Form;
The column "The parties sign the certificate and press their fingerprints" shall not be blank, and shall not be filled in or pressed by others;
(3) Stamping the marriage certificate of the parties with a strip seal, indicating that "the two parties are divorced, and the certificate is invalid. ×× Marriage Registry ". Copy and file the cancelled marriage certificate and return the original to the party concerned.
