I was at the end of June It’s been almost half a month since I went to the Expo. If I hadn’t seen the photos posted by others after visiting the Expo the day before yesterday, I would have almost forgotten about it. In fact, when I was still in the park and looking at the creative venues, I wanted to write something as a souvenir, but I kept putting it off. This summer vacation, I believe many students and friends will go to the Expo, including my friends. I write travel notes to share my feelings, and I will intersperse the guide part with the travel notes. I hope that the travel notes can evoke memories of friends who have been there, and the guide can help friends who have not been there bring back beautiful memories. remember! I use normal fonts for all the text, and I bold and underline the titles of the strategy section, and that's it. All the text is original. In the strategy section, there will be text and pictures from the Internet. Anyway, what I post is for resource sharing. I also encourage others to freely use my articles. Okay, let’s get started!
Shanghai is indeed an international metropolis, at least from the perspective of transportation, it is far better than Nanjing. Shanghai’s subways and buses are among the best in China, and Shanghai has also done a great job for the World Expo. Well, all the subway entrances near the Expo site have detailed signs pointing you to the nearest door. When taking the subway, if a station is close to the entrance, there will definitely be a voice prompt. And there are a lot of cities near the entrance and exit of the park. Volunteers and armed police will provide detailed directions. There are also many buses in Shanghai marked as Expo-dedicated lines, and the stops go directly to the entrance of an Expo park. Traffic control is implemented near the park, and public vehicles are unlikely to enter, so self-driving tours are basically impossible. I have to admit that the impression I had on my first close contact with the Expo was very bad. When I went there, it happened to be the rainy season, with heavy rain and strong winds. However, it was noon when I went, and there were maps, guides, and other products for sale at the door. Mazars, benches, rain gear and even hawkers selling replicas of Haibao. There were very few people queuing up in the twisted and winding passage. I had a wrong impression at the time - there were not many people at the Expo (actually, later experience confirmed that such a long passage in the morning was far from enough), so I was very excited. The ground went in.
The first day
I entered through Gate 7. After passing the security check, I really wanted to see the nearby exhibition halls, but the queue in front of the Japanese Industry Pavilion lasted more than 3 hours. My companions and I were scared, let’s go! I heard that the corporate pavilion in Puxi should have very few people. What about the petroleum pavilion? Scared again! After walking around for a while, I found that only the Power Grid Pavilion had the least number of people. The sparkling facade of the State Grid Pavilion is eye-catching. The queue at the Power Grid Pavilion lasted half an hour. There was a "magic box" inside, where people were inside, surrounded by screens all around, and then went up to the sky and into the earth. It was very exciting. The content of the Power Grid Pavilion mainly introduces the latest power technology, making people yearn for the future life.
The reality is cruel. There is really no small pavilion at the World Expo, and there are queues at all the pavilions! People who visited Puxi more than ten days ago also said that there are few people in Puxi, but the things are good. As a result, "gold always shines" - there are people at the door of all the fun venues. There is no way, every place is full of people... …Suddenly, I remembered that the guide I had read said that if you collect the stamps of the three case museums in Bilbao, Madrid, and Barcelona, ??you can enjoy the green channel in the Spanish Pavilion. But I haven’t been to an urban best practice area yet. Are there others? But when I looked up, I saw a sea of ??people around me. I was so excited that I went to the best practice area. I would like to add here that you need to buy a passport when you come to the Expo. Not only can you leave a souvenir for the venues you have visited, but many national pavilions have direct access programs that require passports and tickets. The direct access programs are as follows
The Urban Best Practice Area leads directly to the National Pavilion
Spain Pavilion: The 37 pages of the World Expo passport are stamped by Madrid, Bilbao and Barcelona. You can enter the Spanish Pavilion from the green channel
< p>Denmark Pavilion: Expo passports have Odense stamps, and you can enter the Danish Pavilion from the green channelGerman Pavilion: Bremen, Freiburg, and Dusseldorf case pavilions have 3 "Expo Germany Cards" "Issue point, a total of about 60 tickets are issued in a limited amount every day. After obtaining the electronic certification of the "Expo Germany Card" in the four German city case museums of Hamburg, Bremen, Freiburg, and Dusseldorf, you can enjoy one-time entry into Germany. Fast-track access to the National Pavilion
China Pavilion & Saudi Pavilion:
In the northern information office, you can get a copy of the "City Business Card Book" with the ticket of the day (it is better to say "grab") ", one person, one vote, one volume, limited to 1,000-1,050 copies distributed every day, of which about 6,100 are from Saudi Arabia. Collect 15 city case Expo commemorative seals from the city's best practice areas in the designated location of the "City Card Book", which must include the 5 physical case seals from the north.
The 15 city case seals must include 7 Asian city case seals, 7 European city case seals, and 1 American or African city case seal. The total number of seals must not be less than 15, and the seal samples cannot be repeated. With a "City Business Card Book" and stamped with 15 eligible commemorative stamps, you can stamp the best practice area stamp at the reservation point in the city square to exchange for a visit ticket to the Chinese National Pavilion or the Saudi National Pavilion on the same day. . Among them, the number of tickets for the China National Pavilion is limited to 900-1,000 per day, 200 for the Saudi Pavilion on weekends, and 120 on weekdays. The physical case refers to an independent pavilion with one building in one city, and the joint case refers to a joint pavilion with one pavilion in several cities.
Note: The electronic cards and city card books of the German Pavilion are basically distributed early in the morning. The former does not take more than ten minutes, and the latter does not take more than dozens of minutes.
You must know that in the Expo site, volunteers (nicknamed Xiaobaicai - because of their white and green clothes) are the guardian angels of the entire site. Without the enthusiastic and patient service of these young people, answering questions and solving problems, The World Expo can no longer be held. They can answer almost all questions about the World Expo such as venue location and bus lines, so I will omit all the bus links in the article because all public transportation systems in the park are free where you want to go. Find volunteers. Just fine.
Soon, I found three Spanish pavilion stamps, came to the Spanish pavilion, and lined up in the green channel. In comparison, there were indeed a lot less people in this passage, and there were staff from Spain nearby.
"Wang Qian, please (move forward)." A European-style Chinese sentence popped out. It turned out to be the beautiful Spanish staff member next to me who was maintaining order. I suddenly heard this conversation between the two uncles at the back:
“Actually, that’s the flavor I want!”
“Foreign flavor!”
"Yes! It would be meaningless to 'move forward'. What I want is that taste - please Wang Qian beat me up."
Haha, think about it, it is indeed like this. World Expo, World Expo, what you come to see is What? It's not a movie, it's not a game. You can watch the same 3D4D movie by paying money outside. You don't have to wait for 3 or 4 hours to film it. You come here to see culture and civilization. Likewise, the stamp itself doesn't mean much. , what is truly precious are these precious happy memories.
When you enter the venue, you will see a super-long screen movie, which successively shows a series of Spanish elements such as Flamenco, Gasol, Nadal, Spanish football, etc. Even when the video of the Running of the Bulls Festival is played, the feet under your feet Visible vibrations can be felt.
When I left the venue, I saw an oversized doll. Many girls went a little crazy. They called it cute and came forward to take photos. The doll also had rich expressions and eyes, which was impressive.
I was really tired when I went home that night. The subway was also very crowded and there were no seats at all. I have spent a lot of money in the park these days. The drinking water is not bad. There is a free drinking water machine inside. The drinks are a bit expensive. The restaurants are just robbing people. They charge sky-high prices. You can sell noodles and lunch boxes for more than ten yuan. Dozens of dollars. Some venues have small restaurants. If you want to eat a simple meal, you can eat a hundred or two. Later I visited a few joint halls and left.
The next day
The tour on the second day was purely accidental. I didn’t originally plan to go on Saturday and Sunday because I heard there were too many people. But on the night of the first day (Friday), I was already very tired. I was lying on the sofa and picked up a newspaper and flipped through it in boredom. Who knew that I would be refreshed after reading it? The news was to the general effect, 6.25 ( Today) - June 27, the Information Development Network Hall in the park will hold an MJ anniversary event... I was speechless... I wandered around the park for a day, but I didn't know about this kind of thing, and then I struggled with it all morning the next day. Finally, I decided to go there to express my memory of MJ.
As I struggled all morning, I went quite late. After I went there, I went straight to the Information Development Network Hall. After queuing up to enter, I didn’t even look at the things around me, including calligraphy, paintings, and bottles. I kept walking back anxiously. Suddenly, a person suddenly appeared in front of me. There is a huge poster for this is it, with text and pictures on both sides. Under MJ's photo there are quite a few flowers and records presented by fans, and under the poster in the middle is MJ's wax figure.
In front of the platform, there were crowds of people, either kneeling or standing, busy taking photos. It’s a pity that the wax figure was separated. Otherwise, I would have liked to take a more intimate photo with MJ. A big brother said: "Today's visit to the pavilion was worth it."
I felt guilty after leaving the pavilion. After all, I came here in a hurry without planning in advance. I didn't know what to do. Suddenly I thought of the Japan pavilion. , the Korean Pavilion should be quite fun, so I took the car to the Japanese Pavilion, and was immediately shocked——
Note that the building in the distance in the photo is the Korean Pavilion, and the Japanese Pavilion is behind me, but I want What I photograph is not the museum, but the people. Both Japan and South Korea are the most popular destinations for this Expo (Saudi Arabia and China are super popular). The queues are winding and winding. The pavilions prepared for queuing are full, and the isolation belts even block the roads. The momentum of throwing a whip to cut off the current! Oh my gosh, if I were queuing up here now, I probably wouldn't even eat dinner.
Let's go! Let's go! I was wandering around boredly...but suddenly, a star flashed in the distance and suddenly gave me endless power - North Korea!
I did not expect that there would be a North Korean pavilion at first. The World Cup called it the "mysterious teacher". Zheng Dashi's manly tears two days ago left a deep impression on me, and I couldn't help but yearn for it. , I want to see the World Expo venues in this mysterious country.
There was no queue, which was good. The queue at the entrance of the World Expo venue has two rare virtues, one is short and the other is dynamic - if it is short, there will be less waiting, and if it is dynamic, it will sooner or later be short and there will be less waiting. To be fair, things here are quite interesting. We have built some scenes of North Korea in the venue, such as pavilions and lakes. But there was a screen next to it, which showed images of innocent and happy North Korean children playing, which made me laugh bitterly. The souvenir shop inside sells very Korean-style things. I was surprised to find the portraits of the great Generals Kim Jong Il and Kim Il Sung printed on the books, but I didn’t buy them. I probably wouldn’t be able to understand them if I did.
The afternoon is definitely the peak period. I decided to dedicate the afternoon to the small restaurants, but I visited some small restaurants and then went to Puxi to see the ship museum. The China Shipbuilding Pavilion was a turning point in my World Expo trip. I had never planned to wait in long lines before, but it turned out that there were no small pavilions at the Expo, and there were queues at all the pavilions. The Shipbuilding Pavilion took me more than an hour. After this time, I gradually Let go and stop caring about the long queue. In fact, the World Expo is a very complicated trip. It is definitely not as convenient as our usual visits to parks and amusement parks. The organizing ability of the World Expo itself is already extremely good. It sounds like five or six hundred thousand people are crowded. The consequence of the one-sided pursuit of economic benefits and data is to sacrifice the interests of ordinary people. More than once when I was waiting in a long queue in the park, I heard people curse the Expo. Many people made it clear, "If the unit had not issued the invoice, I would not have been able to do it today." I just came back, and I will never come again. "Yes, the World Expo is a cultural event, and the things are very good. It is true that some Chinese people are not qualified, but I think it is the World Expo Bureau that should reflect, and the main responsibility does not lie with others. I saw people throwing garbage on the ground because there was no trash can next to them while queuing; I saw people smoking because there was no eye-catching smoking room; I saw people jumping in line because they had to queue three or four times. , or even more hours... The quality problems exposed by the World Expo are not only the responsibility of tourists.
I heard that there would be fewer people in the African Joint Pavilion, so I took a car there. After entering, I found that it really had an African flavor. There were black people around. The tapestries, wood carvings and various handicrafts around were very interesting. ——But it’s just for a fancy look. I’m surprised that the things here are so expensive that it’s like grabbing money. For example, a refrigerator magnet costs 10 yuan. If you go to the supermarket and buy something for 10 yuan, you can get a refrigerator magnet like this. . But it’s still very interesting to take a look at it. Many businesses have signs saying please don’t take pictures. Otherwise, I really want to take some pictures.
The queuing area at the entrance of each venue of the World Expo can definitely show the level of humanity of the venue. The China Pavilion exhibition area is upstairs, so I queued downstairs at the Oriental Crown. It was fun to look up at this shocking building. There were too many people in the Saudi Pavilion, so all queue ceilings had sprays and fans (if there were no It may kill people); the queue for the Urban Future Museum is inside the building, and there are "cities" with various calligraphy around it, which calligraphy lovers will find very interesting. The Belgian pavilion is definitely the most special one. It will have actors dress up as Europeans, calling themselves "Beethoven", "Madame Curie" and other European celebrities, and then play interactive games with tourists outside the queue guardrail. Caramel biscuits will be distributed at the entrance of the Belgian pavilion, which is divided into two parts: the European Union and Belgium. Some important EU documents are even on display. The shop before the exit sells Belgian chocolates and diamonds, which is very tempting.
When I left, I was a little exhausted and found that the queue at the door of the Finland Pavilion had shrunk quite a bit, so I went to queue. The shape of the Finland Pavilion is a "curling stone" with a hollow interior. You can look up when you look up inside. Of course, Nokia is indispensable in the starry sky.
The pattern of changes in the number of people at the Expo is that there are fewer people on weekdays than on weekends. The number of tourists on a day peaks at about noon, and reaches half of it about an hour after the park opens. It starts to decrease once nightfall, and the number of tourists at night shrinks by about half. The number of people will be reduced on rainy days, and the number of people will be greatly reduced on hot days. It is recommended that those who are able-bodied go there during the hot weather on weekdays.
The fourth day
It was raining heavily in the sky, blown by the strong wind, and hit me. I carried my luggage, carried an umbrella, and looked into the distance. There was a voice echoing in my mind, "I was here yesterday, I was here yesterday! I've been here before - I know which bus to take and which route to take. I'm still young. I have strength, speed, and technology. I will definitely become That one in a thousand!"
City card book - here I come! The time was 9:20, and I ran a long way to the station with my umbrella in hand. I took a bus and rushed to the city's best practice area. When I arrived at the station, I jumped off the bridge, climbed over the bridge and crossed the road - victory was right in front of me. There was a thin curtain of rain in front of me, the whistling wind in my ears, and the splashing water under my feet, as fast as the wind! Head to the Northern Information Desk! I glanced briefly and saw a large group of people running in the same direction as me.
At this moment, tall figures echoed in my mind - Liu Xiang, Robles, Bolt, Gay, Iverson, Wade... While I was immersed in the struggle, I became depressed - the one next to me Volunteer, I didn’t ask her, and she didn’t ask me either. I just ran past her, and she knew I was going to grab the city’s business card book, and reminded me: “It’s over there, don’t run... "It's depressing. There are too many people grabbing the city's business card. The entire northern part of the city's best practice area is engaged in orienteering. Those who don't know think that the World Expo has turned into a sports meeting.
Although I don’t have much advantage in long-distance running among my peers, I’m still more than capable of bullying adults and aunts. When I ran to the information desk, I saw people queuing up. As I said before, at the entrance of the Expo venue The team has two rare virtues, one is short and the other is dynamic - short means less waiting, and dynamic means sooner or later it will be short and less waiting. So this team that grabs the city's business card can be called the team that has fallen the fastest - it is growing at a high speed, but it is not moving fast, so it can be called the team that has fallen the fastest. I originally thought that the volunteers would make me very depressed, but I didn’t expect that the person who was even more depressed was the armed policeman. While trying to maintain order, he said kindly: “Don’t crowd, there is something for everyone...” I was completely speechless. There are only a thousand copies, how can everyone have it? But they have good intentions to maintain order, but what if there is another 69 Jihad... As I spoke, spring passed and autumn came, I saw that the team was getting longer, but the team in front of me was gradually shortening, I felt so happy in my heart, and I saw it gradually getting closer. I moved forward, and the two people in front of me were holding a stack of papers, like fairies, dressed in "little cabbage" clothes. I asked: "Is this the city card book of the China Pavilion?" She replied: "Yes. "I was secretly happy and quickly took it with my hand. Looking at the city card book, I couldn't help but feel happy.
City Card Book Robbery Guide (from the Internet, thanks to netizen gordonwu)
Enter the park through Gate 3, firstly because it is close, and secondly because there are few people.
I played almost all of the Urban Best Practice Zone as early as the third day, so I almost knew which halls had chapters and which ones didn’t, where the venues were, and where the seals were, and I knew it very quickly. , counting a few pavilions I hadn’t seen yesterday, I quickly made up my city card book and went to the reservation point in the city square to exchange for a reservation coupon for the China Pavilion.
The reservation coupon was the size of a business card. I carefully put it into my pocket, happily walked around Puxi briefly, and then took the bus to Pudong. By the way, there are automatic ticket vending machines at the China Railway Museum in Puxi. You can buy train tickets for almost any type of train in any city across the country. The World Expo is being held during this time. Interested friends can buy the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail back to Nanjing there. The tickets are The World Expo commemorative model is also printed with the appearance of the China Railway Pavilion.
I came to Pudong, found the China Pavilion, came to the door, looked at the crowd, couldn't help but gasp, and quickly asked the armed police uncle.
"Uncle, look how long this queue will take."
"More than 3 hours."
I was speechless, shook my head, and prepared to leave. Come again in the evening.
"Young man, young man, have you seen the China Pavilion?" Suddenly, an old man pulled me over.
"Not yet." I replied smoothly
"I have a reservation coupon here. Do you want it?" He suddenly took out a reservation coupon for the China Pavilion and spent a long time with me. The result is almost the same.
"Are you a scalper?" I blurted out.
"What scalpers! How disgusting it sounds. I have seen it. I have no use for this reservation coupon. I will sell it to you. You can negotiate any price... 80! How about 80."
< p>It was the first time in my life that I encountered scalpers. It was really refreshing."Forget it, I don't want it anymore."
"You can give me any price, 70! Don't do this, it will look ugly to others..."
After getting rid of this uncle, I thought about it carefully. If I didn’t have a reservation coupon in my hand at the time, maybe I would have bought one...
In fact, looking back now, if I had When I go to the World Expo again, I will not grab the city's business card book. After weighing many factors, I feel that grabbing the city's business card book to see the Chinese Pavilion or the Saudi Pavilion is definitely not a better way. The World Expo is not a simple place. If you want to have a good and worthwhile experience, you must stay a few more days and do more homework before coming, so that you will feel that your trip is worthwhile. The reason why I don’t recommend grabbing city business cards is because of the specific conditions of the China Pavilion and the Saudi Pavilion
.
China Pavilion Reservation Guide
Situation Overview: The China Pavilion implements an all-reservation system, and each person enters with a reservation ticket and queues up. The time limit on the reservation ticket is invalid, which means that the reservation ticket only gives you the right to queue on the same day. People with reservation tickets can queue up at any time before 9:30. The China Pavilion has a quota of 50,000 reservations every day, 4/5 of which are distributed to the team in advance, and 1/4 of which are distributed to the first lucky ones to arrive at each ticket gate every morning by dedicated personnel. About 1,000 copies are reserved for exchange in city business cards. Therefore, only 1/8 or even fewer tourists can visit the China Pavilion every day. While tour groups can easily get reservations, it is difficult for individual tourists to get them.
Methods to grab reservation coupons:
1. Group reservation (some lucky travel agencies can grab reservation coupons, please check in advance whether there is a China Pavilion)
2. The stupid bird flies first (the number of people at different gates is different. Come to the gate with fewer people one or two hours in advance. Try to grab the first few seats at the security checkpoint with few people. If the first few pass the security check, you may grab the reservation ticket, but just I'm afraid there are too many awesome people, so I won't be able to grab one a few hours in advance. The reservation tickets for the China Pavilion that are hand-issued every day are distributed in about 15-20 minutes)
3. Orienteering (that is, grabbing the city's business card book, But after grabbing it, there will be 1,000 people wandering around the best practice area and knocking stamps. If you are not familiar with the terrain, it will take 2 or 3 hours to get down.)
4. Scalper support (there are scalpers at the entrance of the China Pavilion, selling them for 50). There are prices ranging from 80 to 100. It is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the market first and not be ripped off)
China Pavilion & Saudi Pavilion:
In the northern information office, you can collect it with the ticket for the day (it says " "Grab" is better) A copy of the "City Business Card Book", one person, one vote, one book. A limited number of 1,000-1,050 copies are distributed every day, of which about 6,100 are from Saudi Arabia. Collect the Expo commemorative stamps of 15 urban cases in the city's best practice areas at the designated location in the "City Card Book", which must include the 5 physical case stamps from the north.
