Comrade Chen Yi made great contributions, but he always attributed the credit to the Party and the people. He said: "individuals are too small, and the party and the masses are omnipotent." He once vividly said: "The victory of the Huaihai Campaign was pushed out by the Shandong people in a small car."
Once, he watched a play and there was a line: "Chen Yi has the demeanor of a general". Afterwards, Chen Yi commented on this: "How can you let such words be written in the script? Let me Chen Yi listened to where to drill? I want to get under the table! Makes me blush. Please discuss with the author and be sure to change this sentence. "

Students are determined to make up for it. " Seeing that Mei Lanfang was so courteous, the old man solemnly pointed out: "According to the regulations of the' Pear Garden', the angle should go up and down seven times. 4. Ancient Yanwu
Gu was a great scholar and thinker in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. He was knowledgeable, modest and noble.
He often checks himself against others and finds his own shortcomings. He thinks: I am not as persistent as Wang Xizhi in exploring nature and the world; I am not as good as Yang in studying hard to increase my talents and explore profound and subtle things. I am not as cool as Fu Shan to think independently from various theories in order to gain deeper insights; I am not as elegant, honest and kind as Zhu Zun in my articles.
It is precisely because Gu can see his own gap from the strengths of others, and he is open-minded, so his deeds are regarded as a typical example of "leijin in Qing Shu", and he became one of the three great people in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties because of his diligence and studiousness.

The emperor was very happy and asked Dai Zhen, "Who is more talented than the teacher?" Dai Zhen replied: "My level is low." The emperor asked again, "Why can't the senior officials answer?" Dai Zhen said: "The teacher is old and hard of hearing, but his knowledge is ten thousand times more than mine." The emperor appreciated his modesty and made him an academician.
