The origin of rap music can be traced back to the chanting passages in The Roots of Black Music. In the 1970s, rap music formally established its own style. Rap spread from street black culture, and many branches were derived, such as PopRap, OldSchool, HardcoreRap, GangstaRap and so on.

Nowadays, the so-called HIP-HOP is a new vocabulary that combines the popular elements of these schools. There are three styles of rap.

1, old school

Most listeners mistakenly think that some rap tracks with the general idea of lyrics refer to OldSchool. In fact, to define Oldschool specifically, we should look at it from the perspective of time. Boombap

Boombap actually belongs to OldSchool, which can be said to represent a style of OldSchool. Boombap is an onomatopoeic word, which is classified according to accompaniment. Generally speaking, it is rhythmic, that is, boom, boom, boom.

Jazz hip-hop music

JazzHipHop is jazz rap, which refers to a kind of jazz sampled in rap accompaniment. Most jazz rap styles are romantic, relaxed and happy.
