4. Buy tickets before going, and understand the transportation and opening and closing times of the park (9:00-24:00).
Day 1: Just arrive before the park opens at 9:00. Don’t rush in after the park opens. There is a row of reservation machines at the entrance. You must make a reservation here first for today’s China Pavilion. The reservation time is around three in the afternoon. There is only one reservation opportunity for one ticket. Making a reservation at the reservation machine requires valid ID and tickets.
Theme pavilions: Not long after walking along the Expo axis, you will see the theme pavilions on the left (at the end is the Celebration Square). The theme pavilions include the Urban People Pavilion, the Urban Life Pavilion and the Urban Planet Pavilion. Wait for 3 more.
