1. Select an electronic signature service provider: select a reliable and qualified electronic signature service provider, such as a nationally certified CA institution or other qualified third-party institutions;
2. Apply for a digital certificate: apply for a digital certificate from an electronic signature service provider. Certificate is the core of electronic signature, which is used to verify the identity of the signer and the validity of the signature;
3. Signing: after the contract is agreed, the contract text is transmitted to the electronic signature platform, the place to be signed is selected, and the contract is signed after password or identity verification;
4. Electronic signature verification: After the signature is completed, the electronic signature platform will generate an electronic document containing signature information, which can be verified by the electronic signature verification tool to determine the identity of the signer and the validity of the signature.
The information required for electronic signature of the contract is as follows:
1. Contract text: The contract text shall be a true, accurate and complete electronic document, including complete contract terms and information of both parties;
2. Electronic signature certificate: An electronic signature certificate is the identity certificate of an electronic signature, which needs to be obtained by an electronic certification service institution that meets the requirements of laws and regulations;
3. Electronic signature equipment: Electronic signature equipment should be hardware or software that meets safety standards and can guarantee the authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation of signatures;
4. Enterprise business license and legal person identity certificate: If it is a contract signed by an enterprise, copies of relevant certificates such as enterprise business license and legal person identity certificate are required.
To sum up, for the signing of important contracts, it is recommended to sign offline to ensure the authenticity and validity of the contract.

An electronic signature shall be regarded as reliable if it meets the following conditions:
(1) When the electronic signature production data is used for electronic signature, it belongs to the exclusive rights of the electronic signer;
(2) When signing, the electronic signature production data is only controlled by the electronic signer;
(3) Any changes to the electronic signature after signature can be found;
(4) Any changes to the content and form of the data message after signature can be found.
The parties can also choose to use electronic signatures that meet their agreed reliable conditions.
